Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Loft + Den + 2 Baths + Kitchen (Sleeps 10)

Spacious upscale condo located in a forested area. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to Quicksilver 6 lift, town, and trails. The condo is a great place for large families, groups, or 2 families. The unit sleeps up to 10 people comfortably. The condo has over 1,200 square feet of living space. There’s a heated pool, inside and outside spas, and a sauna. There’s a balcony overlooking the pool and hot tubs. The condo complex is equipped with a heated pool, 2 hot tubs, a sauna, laundry room, and ample parking (we supply the parking passes). There’s free WiFi and satellite TV. The condo is on the Breckenridge Free Ride route which will take you to all the lifts and the Gondola, downtown, or connections with the Free Summit Stage that will connect to other ski areas; Keystone, A-Basin, and Copper Mountain. The condo is a great place to curl up on the couch in front of a roaring fire and read a great book or play games with the family.

About Devin Johnson

The condo is owned by two sisters and has been a joy in their lives and the lives of their children and grandchildren. The families use the condo from time to time but is honored to share it with others when the unit is vacant. Between the two sisters there are nine children and seventeen grandchildren. That is why the condo is booked up in the summer.... for kids and grandkids.

Great location and reasonably priced with the fundamentals of what I need for a ski weekend.

This is an affordable option for staying close to the action. I give it 5 stars for the price and the location.

I don't take away for dated interiors. Looks like it hasn't been remodeled since 1989. I didn't choose it for the interior design. It has all of the requirements I need in a rental unit and looks aren't one of those requirements.

I did take away a star for the shared amenities.

1. The hot tubs and pool are shared with many other rental units so don't be surprised if you and your whole group walk to the pool/hot tubs and find that there's no room after a day on the mountain. The 4 hot tubs do fill up after lifts stop running at 4:00.

2. The hot tub and pool policies require all beer to be in label-free containers. An attendant actively enforces this rule apparently through a creepy webcam. This rule means you cannot bring a can of beer there...unless it's tucked away inside of a coozie. That's just a dumb rule and forces the users of the pool and the pool attendant to have a really awkward conversation about this well intended, but stupid....rule where both acknowledge it's idiocy but understand they must abide. Dump the dumb rule.

Owner's Response: Hi Clark, We are happy you chose to stay with us It sounds like we were a lot of what you needed Plans for updating the condo are in motion as I write this reply Hope you come back and see it freshened up I'll pass your concerns about the pool/spa on to the HOA Perhaps a scheduled time for each unit might work better than what you experienced Also, there is a renovation of that area but it has not been decided yet. Architects are working on plans. As far as renovation, we are just waiting for guests to leave before we clean up a bad tile job. Then we plan to re-carpet, change out baseboards and doors. Also we will be replacing the couch. The next Summer, we hope to renovate the kitchen. Again thanks for staying with us Pat Johnson and Carolyn Cole

This property met all of our needs. Spacious, comfortable, two bathrooms, within walking distance to mountain and restaurants. My teenage daughter loved the loft bedroom. Thank you.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great condo. Great location. About a 10 minute walk to the ski lift in about 10 to 15 minute walk to Main Street. Condo has plenty of amenities

Very nice and spacious condo

Had a great stay at this condo. It is convenient to most things and although we did not walk, we could have walked over to ski and get on the Quicksilver lift. We saw lots of people walking it.

The condo is very big and spacious. Lots of room for a large group. Plenty of blankets, pots, pans, cups etc etc. All in all we enjoyed it.

On the negative side:

The bathrooms were a little dated but functional.

The walls and floors and doors must be thin...could hear neighbors and people in hallway and sound really caries in the condo itself.

The big negative was the stairs to the loft. I would call them dangerous in socks...more than one of us slipped. Definitely only climb or descend the spiral in shoes or barefoot and hang onto the rails tight. They need to put traction tape on the stairs. Tough to haul luggage up...easiest way was to pass it up in a relay format with 2 or 3 people.

The complex is set in a pine grove and is located 300 yards from the Quicksilver 6 lift at the base of Peak 9 with access to other Peaks. The complex is 75 yards from the free bus shuttle taking you to town or to the slopes. Many vacationers choose to walk to town for shopping or dining at the many great shops and restaurants.
