House was great. Location of the pool is not on the property. Was a 5 minute drive and only open until 6pm. Lots of chairs broken and outlet in upstairs bathroom doesnt work
Jennifer, It was a pleasure hosting you at Honey Hive. Thank you for the feedback. I'll have our maintenance team look at issues you mentioned for future guests. Thank you for choosing to stay with me and hope you'll come back and stay again.
Cabin was not clean . Mildew on couch pillows , hot tub was nasty filters not clean jets broken , shower knobs broken . Food stuck to counters . Dust in the entire cabin . I have pictures off all this And they only gave me a 95.00 credit and we didn’t even stay in it because they didn’t fix all the issues . Told me it was still clean enough to stay in . Justin was the manager we had . Worst manager ever ! Don’t rent from these ppl they will take your money.
Thank you for the feedback on your stay with us! I will address these issues with our cleaning team. I do hope otherwise you enjoyed your time in our beautiful smoky mountains.
Decently Appointed Cabin with Good Access to Tail of the Dragon
We stayed here as part of a meet with our automotive group. The cabin is very well situated with close access to Foothills Parkway which provides a very pleasant drive to and from Tail of the Dragon. The cabin overall was nice and worked well for the summer. We had 5 of us in the cabin and people were pleased with the beds and bathrooms. The cabin looked to have a decent board game collection if one is so inclined. (Did not use the games, no idea if any pieces may be missing.)If joining large groups we were able to stay on the same side of 321 as our other companions who were renting which made for stress free walking between cabins. Also, the Wears Valley Social Food Truck Park is right across Wears Valley Rd and can be a nice place to grab a bite to eat.A few points that could be improved: The upstairs bedroom had a switch for a ceiling fan that was no longer there, due to how the roof and house is shaped the bedroom gets a bit warm compared to the rest of the house.Outlets were not convenient for leaving a phone charging on the night stand and it looks like someone took the power brick that had a USB extender plugged in.Overall would be willing to stay again if we're back in the area.
Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're glad the cabin’s location and layout worked well for your group and that you enjoyed the proximity to Foothills Parkway and local spots like the food truck park. We appreciate your feedback about the upstairs bedroom's fan switch and outlet setup; we'll look into these details to improve guest comfort. It was a pleasure hosting your group, and we'd be happy to welcome you back anytime.
Beautiful home w/ everything you need in Pigeon Forge
We had a WONDERFUL stay at Justin's place. We found it spotless, comfortable, well furnished, and beautifully decorated (with a subtle honey bee theme). The beds are comfy and the shower pressure is good. Parents can choose to stay in the room upstairs and give the kids the downstairs if they'd like more privacy for themselves. We all enjoyed the hot tub and game room. If you'd like to play poker, there's no need to bring chips; they're there for you (and we left playing cards for you to enjoy!). There's also corn hole boards and bags.In addition, while the cabin is quiet with a lovely view of the mountains, it's in a convenient location very close to PF and not far from Gatlinburg either. Nearby are mountain coasters, mini golf, cafes, Mel's Diner, a coalfire pizza place, an authentic New Orleans restaurant called Paw Paw's (all family fav's), an antique mall, and more. Within walking distance (just down the hill!) are a souvenir shop with locally made items and a taco truck. We had a question the first day of our stay and Justin got back to us right away. Everything was smooth and enjoyable. We are already planning our next trip and would LOVE to stay at Justin's place again!HIGHLY RECOMMEND! A tip: The stores and restaurants in PF close earlier than they do where we're from (at least in early June). If you're looking for a nearby late-night place to eat, Mel's is open later than most.
