Everything went well. Our host was responsive and the apartment was clean and well furnished with many upgrades. Incredible location in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor. We were able to walk to everything in Bar Harbor.

The apartment was in a great location with many modern appliances. We enjoyed the bathrooms with large showers. Parking, while located about 2 blocks away was easily accessible and never full.

Apartment was perfect for staying in downtown Bar Harbor. Clean and spacious. Nice to have parking in downtown, although it is a short 2-block walk away. Took the Island Explorer shuttle from Village Green to get to Acadia.

Wonderful location; front bedrooms need room darkening shades. Fabulous kitchen but need more suitable furniture in living room. A few more lamps (all over) would give better lighting; appliances were top of the line.

Great location and excellent amenities

This is a great property to stay at when visiting Bar Harbor/Acadia. It's right in the heart of the town and has all the amenities needed for families traveling with kids. It's also just 10-15 mins away from the national park which was a huge positive. Families traveling with toddlers/kids will probably appreciate this a lot especially when they need to plan the naps and meals! The apartment was extremely clean and well equipped with essentials.

Perfect location!

There is no better location in Bar Harbor! Walk to everything downtown and a quick car or bike ride to Acadia. The apartment is spacious, updated and clean. A few things to note- There is no AC in the bedrooms, but leaving the bedroom doors open makes it bearable even in a heatwave. Bring a sleep mask- the sunrise was very early and there are no light blocking shades. The living room could use a little more seating.

Great property, excellent appliances and comfy beds!

The property was great. Very clean when we arrived. The appliances were all top of the line and worked perfectly. The beds were comfy. The toiletry, cleaning and coffee supplies provided were much appreciated. Perfect location to walk anywhere in Bar Harbor. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend to others.

The condo was amazing. It was very clean upon arrival. Beds were very comfortable. All of the appliances were top of the line and worked perfectly. We appreciated the camping chairs and beach towels available for use and also the dish soap and laundry soap. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

Be sure hot water is fixed before renting

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The location was fabulous, right in the middle of downtown Bat Harbor. Walking distance to everything and just a short drive to Acadia. Apartment was pretty clean. We moved the living room table and could tell that it had not been vacuumed there in a while. We also found some stains on the underside of some pillowcases. But these were no big deal. Beds were very comfortable and despite it being located over a store in the heart of Bar Harbor, the apartment was very quiet. We had one issue during our stay. There was no hot water (none!) in the master bath. The other bathroom had some lukewarm water, but it was definitely not as hot as I would have wanted it to be. I called the host and they offered to send someone to look at it, but we decided that we didn’t want someone there while we were out enjoying all Bar Harbor has to offer. We opted to just suffer with the lukewarm water in the other bathroom. This didn’t ruin our stay by any means, but it was aggravating to have to share a bathroom. I would definitely rent this place again, but I would make sure that some specific actions had been taken to fix this issue before doing so. I did read other reviews and at least one other renter expressed similar issues, so it is definitely not operator error.

This is a great central location to enjoy Bar Harbor. There is traffic noise but the unit is very comfortable and within walking distance to great dining choices, the grocery store and shore path.

A Great Stay

A great downtown Bar Harbor hub. Great access to all the downtown businesses. Comfy beds and linens. Well stocked kitchen affords a chance to eat in if wanted or visit one of multiple eateries or restaurants within walking distance of the unit. Lovely space to enjoy if needing to stay inside due to inclement weather. Close to everything Bar Harbor. Local grocer is a walk away. Laundry can be done in unit.

Annual vacation with granddaughters and great granddaughters.

Great size for what we needed. Awesome location to walk anywhere you needed to go. We are not complaining but felt since you are asking about our thoughts we will tell you. Since it had a kitchen, we decided to cook meals, but it was lacking certain items like a large mixing bowl/large salad bowl, potato peeler, regular size teaspoons, measuring spoons, extra dishcloths and dishtowels. So, bring items if you plan to cook or bake. A better explanation on how to work the cookstove would have been nice. Some of the outlets in the kitchen didn't work (where the Keurig and toaster were originally) we had to move them to a different location to use them. There was a leak in the cupboard above the stove top on Sunday morning, so we put a pan on the stove top to catch the clear water. It stopped after an hour or so. Someone might want to check that out. The two bedrooms that face Main Street should have darker shades because the streetlights shine into both rooms. The rooms are not dark at all for sleeping. There was broken sheetrock pieces and a small piece of metal I cleaned out of the bathroom shower where the washer and dryer are. We kept running out of hot water. If one person took a shower there was no hot water for the children to take a bath. If we ran the dishwasher there was no hot water for a shower. Two people couldn't take a shower at the same time in two different bathrooms. I took one shower and it was cold.

Amazing location

If you’re looking for a place that’s right in the middle of town, this is your place! Walking distance to everything in town. The condo itself is exactly as pictured. Very nice, comfortable beds, and very clean. We would certainly stay here again!

Bar Harbor

Great location -- right in the midst of all the restaurants and shops. Easy drive to Acadia from here. Noise level was not bad. Amenities were excellent. While we did not spend too much time in the apartment itself, we enjoyed our stay here.
