Some silverware was put in the drawer dirty. There were no clothes hangers in the closets. We were there for a wedding with tuxedos and formal gowns. VRBO host did not reply to this problem until the day before we left. Could not find any anywhere. Not impressed with VRBO; however. the house was as described. The location could not have been better.

Very cute and comfortable home in an absolutely perfect location. We truly enjoyed our stay on this quiet street, which was convenient to everything. It was very nicely furnished (with the exception of uncomfortable kitchen table chairs) and spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen, nicely appointed bathrooms (with modern fixtures) and lots of space.If I *had* to be nitpicky, here were some things that I and our friends noticed/commented on:- While the leather(ish) living room sectional couch was comfy, it was so deep that we think additional throw pillows or back support would be nice. we kept sliding down them! - A "guest user manual" for the downstairs and upstairs TVs would be helpful as it took a lot of futzing to figure out the TV and streaming services (especially because previous guests hadn't logged out of accounts and it was blocking our ability to sign in). We had to reach out to the property manager who responded but whose guidance ad advice was not particularly helpful. I think some kind of manual or instructions would eliminate any confusion. -We had to reach out to property manager in the middle of our stay because there was no laundry detergent available and paper towels were locked away in storage. He did respond promptly. - Appreciated the cooler provided for guest useThe home was decorated very nicely with a Maine/Bar Harbor theme that wasn't over the top or tacky -- we commented on how lovely the dining room was.All in all, we highly recommend!

Great location -- walkable to almost everything in and around BH, but on a quiet side street. Enjoyed the house both as a base for excursions and to just sit and lounge when our itinerary slowed. Would definitely stay here again.

Location location location!!

Amazing location. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and harbor. The only reason I gave an overall 4 star rating is due to the fact that the bathroom on middle level didn't have a lock. Otherwise it was great house!

Family vacation to Bar Harbor

This home was the perfect location for walking any where around Bar Harbor. Even grocery store was within walking distance. Kitchen was very well stocked with all our cooking needs. Bedrooms were comfortable. Nice bathrooms. There were plenty of games for kid entertainment. Had a concern during our stay that the owner was quick to respond to and even followed up. Would definitely recommend this propert!

Awesome in Acadia

Our whole family spent just under a week together in this lovely home with three stories and five bedrooms! The third story suite was perfect for our oldest son, wife and baby infant. House is very comfortable with tons of well maintained and stocked kitchen supplies! That’s such a gift! We cooked three nights. Bess all comfortable with nice bedding and towels. Tons of baby items to include pack n play, high chair and baby gate. Toys galore for adult games an and baby amusement. Host was super with communication and location was great. I would stay again. Enjoy!

Great spot!

Great location within walking distance of Bar Harbor restaurants and shops. Wonderful cottage with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Owners provided all necessities as well as plenty of entertainment options for kids and adults in case of a rainy day. Would definitely stay again!

Best rental in Bar Harbor!

This place offered everything we could have wanted and more. The location was perfect. We could walk to everything and was only 5 minutes from Acadia NP. The home itself was probably the best stocked rental we’ve ever stayed in. It had absolutely everything we could have wanted and more from kitchen to bathroom to grill etc. the pictures didn’t do the place justice. It is clean and updated And had more than enough room for our family to spread out. We loved it!

Perfect for Girls Trip

Perfect for group of 7 women - right in the village of Bar Harbor - minutes from Acadia National Park. Home was very comfortable and cozy. Sitting room was very large, kitchen well equipped, whole home very clean. Highly recommend !

Bar Harbor

Fabulous house; clean, quiet and very comfortable. Can walk to the harbor and see sunset and sunrise. Walk to Bar Island Path, grocery store, cute shops and restaurants. Acadia National Park is a short ride way. Can hike the south and north Bubbles, ride or hike up Cadillac Mountain, many hiking trails, visit Sand Beach, eat at Lobster Pound. Wonderful place. Would definitely stay here again.

Great home and location

We can vouch for the reviews others have made. Great house, great location and well equipped kitchen. We were attending a wedding at the Bar Harbor inn. Able to walk to venue and other town sites. Enjoyed many days at Acadia park as well.

Lovely Week in Bar Harbor

We had a fantastic stay at this home. Great location that is quiet and just steps from town. Beautiful space that fit a number of adults well. Parking for more than 2 cars is difficult, but everything was basically perfect.
