Welcome to Paradise where beauty meets the beach! Wind Drift 301 is a 3 bedroom/ 3 bath condo that has been renovated with new tile floors, fresh paint, new furniture and bedding. It sleeps 8 people comfortably and is perfect for the whole family! The master features a king sized bed, walk in closet and master bathroom with single vanity sink and tub/shower combo. The two guest rooms have twin beds and full bathrooms. The large living room has a pull out queen sofa, large comfy chair and ottoman, two sitting chairs, large flat screen tv and a dinning room table that sits 6. The breakfast bar has two bar stools and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Full washer and dryer, pantry and balcony access from he living room and master bedroom. The color scheme is light and peaceful which is guaranteed to warm your soul. The condo directly faces the Gulf of Mexico and the waves seem cornered just off your oversized balcony. The floor plan is roomy and spacious and is the perfect place for the whole family.

Located just east of the Alabama Point Bridge and adjacent to the marvelous one mile strip of unspoiled nature, Wind Drift Condominiums continues to be the sought after choice of families for their perfect beach get-away! Wind Drift uniquely offers boat slips for guests, located across the street on Old River. You can even store your boat/jet ski trailer there or drop a line from the fishing pier. Other amenities include two swimming pools (one Gulf front), and lighted tennis courts. Mornings are filled with frequent sightings of dolphin play, while nightlife is special as families gather with crab nets to capture the evening air, laughter, and the unsuspecting sea life!

Loved our stay in Life's a Beach!

Our family spent a week in this condo. We had a great time. There were 8 of us. The balcony is perfect for enjoying while sipping coffee and looking out over the beach and water. We even saw Dolphins! The beds are really comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook. The walk to the beach is short. This was our first time to Perdido Key and we loved the area!!! We will be back!

satisfactory in every respect

Met basic needs. Location great with protected beach on one side all the way to the pass. Clean. Air conditioning worked well. Elevators were quick. Parking a bit limited but overflow across the street. Boat docking on the Ole River side was the reason for our stay, and that works well. Overall no complaints. This IS an older condo complex without modern amenities but it is priced accordingly. Would stay here again for sure.

Under renovation

Unit is a nice size. Unfortunately owner had decided to renovate during high rental season. All the carpet had been removed and replaced by tile floor, shoe mould had not been installed and was bundled up behind the sofa, no wall plate over electric switches in dining area, smoke alarms hanging from ceiling (dead batteries), grab bar in tub was totally disconnected, fluorescent light in bathroom was very loose so you had to manually jimmy it to get the light to turn on (couldn't turn on with wall switch and the light fixture had to be replaced - management was aware of issue but had neglected to take care of it), screen door to balcony was off and propped up against the wall, curtains in dining and living area had been removed so there was no way to minimize the glare, walls had been painted a stark white (unlike online pics). Now for the good - unit was spacious, beach front is nice, balcony is exceptional in size, management was responsive once these issues were brought to attention. if the owner insists on renovating during rental season, the renter should be informed and allowed to decide whether to cancel or choose another unit. I highly recommend asking specific questions about the current status of the unit.

Owner's Response: Dear Patricia, I am sorry that our renovations have effected your reservation so much, but I thought refunding your vacation by 50% was more than a generous offer for a 3bedroom Beach Condo in Orange Beach. We worked hard to get everything complete by the first rush of summer guests and I apologize it wasn’t up to standards upon your arrival. The renovation is to improve the condo and have been working hard to make everything perfect for our guests. I am so sorry we didn’t meet your expectations and I am sorry for not letting you know of our renovation before hand.

Spacious & perfect location!

Our family stayed in August, 2014. We loved it! It had plenty of space, wonderful view, and a great balcony area. Having 3 bathrooms was a definite plus, too. The condo is in the perfect location on the beach. You don't feel like you are on top of the other people because there is plenty of room to spread out. Overall, this was a great choice for us and we plan to stay there again!

Wonderful Condo ! Loved the Wind Drift !

What a great condo and a great time in Orange Beach, Alabama. My family and I are renting this condo again in June of 2014. The photos and listing description were true and accurate. You walk out of the elevator and walk on to the beach. The property was clean and the furniture was updated. Plenty of room for the six of us. The inside was well maintained. It is close to all the restaurants and attractions in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Two grocery stores are just down the street. I would recommend this property to all my friends and relatives.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wind Drift. The unit, although not fancy, was clean and comfortable with everything you need to have a good vacation. We cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen and I can't think of anything that was missing. A big plus for us was having separate beds in bedrooms #2 and #3. Also, having a mile of just beach on the one side of the complex was an added bonus. This end of Orange Beach is not crowded yet is close to restaurants and groceries and a variety of stores. We hope to be back to this unit and maybe as early as next year if we can work it out.
