We came to Statesville for a family wedding event and needed someplace four five adults Thurs thru Sunday. We hadn’t seen our son and his girlfriend in almost a year and they flew in and joined us. This house was perfect! It was in an older, quiet little street off the beaten path and it was easy to get to. The interior of the home looked recently renovated and it was done very well! There was plenty of space, and everything was well stocked and working properly. There were even some extras that came in handy like laundry detergent and sugar in the kitchen. The hosts were also wonderful! We reached out beforehand for restaurant recommendations (loved the Twisted Oak downtown) and the host mentioned board games in their intro message to us. When we got to the house, it turned out there were no board games to be found… but the second day we received an Amazon package from Patty. It was full of board games and she sent us a message… we played a game after we got home from the wedding and had an absolute BLAST! It was so much fun we want to go buy the game (Blank Slate) and do it again the next time we get together. The attention to detail by the hosts was exceptional. Thank you both for a perfect stay and the wonderful family memory!

Why they chose this property

We visit this area often and wanted a home close to Hwy 40, 70, and 77. Jurney Home is close to most of the wedding venues, restaurants, and sites in and around Statesville. Yet it is in a quite neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac.

What makes this property unique

A nice quiet neighborhood, and the home is tucked into a wooded lot. Great to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee in the morning listening to the birds sing.
