Beautiful Beachfront getaway with spectacular panoramic views, great beachfront location, Free wifi, and remodeled down to the walls – you’ll never want to leave! With beautiful views of the Gulf and Nature Reserve surrounding you, our condo is the perfect place to unwind from a busy life. Imagine settling in to read a good book on the comfy reclining sofa, listening to fish jump in the evening, or strolling on the expansive Gulf beach. When you are feeling more energetic or want to explore, we have pickleball and tennis courts on site, or you can take a trip into Nature by visiting the nearby Everglades. And when it is time to eat, Marco Island has a wide variety of restaurants for you to choose from. Our living room has about 3 times as many windows as other units, so when you are inside it almost feels like being outside with the wall of windows. Watch beautiful sunsets every night on the large wrap-around balcony of this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo, one of the few front-end units with full Crescent Beach views. One of our visitors said "If you are looking to get away from the crazy world we live in right now, this is definitely the place to visit." The beach is your front yard – you can spend hours strolling along miles of white sand, playing in the warm gulf waters, sunbathing, or rent a paddle boat or kayak to explore the mangroves, all just outside your unit. World famous shelling awaits you every day at the water’s edge, and you will see the most sought after views of the island out of every window. The condo overlooks Tigertail Beach, an important nature reserve where sea turtles and migrating birds nest and rest. Looking to the left, the expansive, white sand Crescent Beach stretches off into the distance. Located at the quiet end of the island, the condo is in South Seas Towers, the only gated community on Marco Island that offers a beach, large heated pool, tennis courts, and boating slips available for lease. The community also offers a fitness center, an active pickle ball community, shuffleboard, putting green, boardwalk and dock.

Our condo is one of the few front units, and is on an upper floor, so there are gorgeous views from every window, and all the rooms (except bathrooms) have large windows. It is beautifully appointed, with a casual but elegant feel, and a spa-style master bathroom. The unit has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fully supplied kitchen, WiFi, Living room and Master bedroom w/ flatscreen HDTV, Dining area, and wrap-around balcony. The Master bedroom has a King bed, full view of the beach and Gulf, access to the balcony, and a spacious spa-style master bathroom, featuring a 7 foot walk-in shower with multiple fixtures and body sprays. The Guest bedroom has a Queen bed, full view of the beach and Gulf, balcony access, and an extra long trundle to allow more sleeping choices. The total renovation included new furnishings, floors, walls, ceilings, air ducts, and all new appliances. Relax at your "home-away-from-home", either inside the unit in the comfortable reclining leather chairs in the sofa, watching the sunset from the Dining room or Balcony, or going to the beach with our beach chairs and umbrella on the beach cart. Or, go out to explore nearby. The Everglades are a great place to spend the day exploring by car or boat, located right to the south of Marco. Staying on the island, you can rent a boat to travel through “Ten Thousand Islands", or charter a tour to do some offshore fishing, or to see dolphins, manatees and sea turtles. Florida alligators are at several nearby locations in their natural habitat. History buffs may want to visit Marco Museum, which is set up as a Calusa Indian village w/moat, or travel to Fort Meyers and visit Thomas Edison’s winter estate and research laboratories. To go farther afield, you can take a high-speed tour boat to Key West in the Florida Keys. The trip takes just 3 hours, and leaves from Marco directly in the summer months.

Groups of 5 are sometimes allowed, but MUST ask owner first BEFORE making a booking request, and get owner's written permission BEFORE booking. Just click on the blue "Contact Host" below the request to book - I usually respond within 1 hour during late afternoon and evening hrs. 3 people maximum in Guest BR, with max of two people aged 14 yrs and older. Sleeping in bedrooms only, not on the LR sofa. The condo is quiet inside, as the A/C system is located in the building's hall closet outside of the unit, versus in a closet within. Our condo is strictly an animal-free and scent-free zone due to owner's severe asthma, which makes it a good place for guests with allergies.

For nature lovers and bird watchers: According to the Great Florida Birding & Wildlife Trail, Tigertail Beach/Sand Dollar Island nature reserve is “One of the best all-around birding spots in southwest Florida. The tidal lagoon at the beach offers great views of shorebirds including Wilson’s, Piping and Snowy Plovers, as well as Least Terns, Roseate Spoonbills, Red Knots and a host of other sought-after species. This corner of Marco Island is a true “hotspot” during migrations, and rarities occur here often.” Birds commonly seen from our balcony include Herons, Egrets, Skimmers, Terns and Osprey, and Pelicans flying close by at window height. A variety of shorebirds are seen at the beach. Bald Eagles and Burrowing Owls nest just a few minutes away on the island, and the beach at the north end of Tigertail is a critical nesting and resting area for the Least Tern, Black Skimmer and Piping Plover. Marco Island is on the pathway of one of the world's busiest migration flyways, and it is also a nesting area for Loggerhead Sea Turtles. Many premier nature and birding spots are close by, including the Everglades, J.N. Ding Darling Nat’l Wildlife Refuge, and Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, home to the largest remaining stand of old growth Bald Cypress in North America.
