Now four bedrooms! Stunning oceanfront home with ocean views from every room! This classic home is located at the end of Sullivan's Island next to Breach Inlet. Other features include: outside shower, covered parking, oceanfront sun deck and balconies, fully equipped kitchen, cable television,charcoal grill and WiFi access. 2,483 square feet. Linens included. No smoking. No pets. There is minimal beach use at high tide. Fireplace not for guest use.

Bedroom 1: Downstairs; Master suite with King; full private bath with garden tub (does not operate as jaccuzzi) and separate shower, large walk-in closet; TV/VCR/DVD. SPECTACULAR OCEAN VIEWS!

Bedroom 3: Upstairs; Queen; full private bath, flat screen TV; OCEAN VIEW

Loved being able to walk out right to the sand, and the views from the living room/dining area were spectacular. Also nice to have a second refrigerator right in the kitchen. The house is older, and has not been updated. Everything was clean, but there were a few rough spots (like the picture that had fallen off the wall and had not been re-hung, and the random coffee table that is in the one queen bedroom). Some people in our group complained that the mattresses were uncomfortable (bunk room and queen room with connected bathroom). Had an issue with checkout where I called at 9 AM and said I had noticed nobody was checking in that afternoon and could we maybe have until noon to check out instead of 10. The person on the phone told me that he'd check with housekeeping and call me back. After 15 minutes went by and he hadn't called I figured we were ok. Well, he called at 9:49 and said "sorry, you have to be out by 10." When I said "gee, I had assumed we were ok when you didn't call me right back" his response was "I'm sorry I got busy, but you really should have been preparing to leave." That was a very unpleasant way to end an otherwise very pleasant trip. We watched a couple days of the Volvo Car Open (women's professional tennis tournament) and the venue there was beautiful and easy to access from the house. We also participated in the Cooper River Bridge Run (10K) and that was also well-organized and tons of fun. Charleston has so many great restaurants for those who don't mind a 25-minute drive, and for those that want to stick closer to home, there are some good choices just a mile down the road on Sullivan's Island. (We loved the Obstinate Daughter!)

Please forgive us for the check out misunderstanding, there are a lot of moving parts in the rental management of properties on barrier islands, and this particular week was one that did not allow for flexible departure times. We are thrilled to know you appreciated what makes 3123 Marshall so special (location, location, location)! And thank you for the details about the beds, we will look into this further. The bunk beds are less than a year old, and the rest of the mattresses are 7-8 years of age. This is the first we have heard about any mattress discomfort. Thank you for your detailed feedback, we appreciate you.

The condition of the house is not up to a rental standard. There is a leak in the upstairs bathroom, trash compactor does not work properly, WIFI worked in a limited way, (but could not chromecast) and maintaining heat was a problem.

We had a super cold stay at this house. The heater in bedrooms wasn’t working the first night. Even after fixing it the next day the heathers weren’t warming over 64 degrees. Terrible beds, old mattresses and dirty sheets.

Our 3rd or fourth stay at 3123 since '99. Superb location, ambiance, ocean views. Property needs to include a teapot, lounge chairs or chaise lounges, perhaps some upgraded dishes, kitchen utensils, a hand-vac that works (the one on site is long lost its chargability/utility), etc.
