We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The property is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly well appointed—everything you could possibly need is there. The lake views from every room in the house are stunning and made the entire experience feel peaceful and special. Katie was a fantastic host: responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would happily return. Highly recommend!

Great location, beautiful area

We were in town for F1 racing and liked being just outside of the city at Lake Travis. Spacious and clean, close to food and entertainment. Enjoyed it a lot.

Katie’s place had stunning views from the living room and bedrooms. We had a fantastic time grilling out, enjoying the lake, the hot tub and playing games. Would highly recommend!

Gorgeous home overlooking Lake Travis. I have never seen a more incredible view. We truly enjoyed our stay, and this home met all of our needs. The owners were extremely responsive if anything was needed and very accommodating. The location to so many things close by was perfect. This is our new favorite spot we have stayed while visiting the lake!

Lake Travis is Amazing

Could not speak higher of this house! The lake access was incredible, and with the addition of paddle boards and pool noodles it made for a great time on the lake. Host was communicative and very friendly. Will definitely be booking again.

Lake Travis Gem

My wife and I had a great weekend getaway at this beautiful Lake Travis house. Waking up to the beautiful views of the lake from the wall of windows was just the start of our tranquil days on the lake. We loved watching the boats go by, seaplanes touching and going right in front of us and the birds flying by including 2 bald eagles. It was just what we needed for a great weekend escape.

Amazing Stay with Stunning Lake Views

My stay at this beautiful lakefront property was nothing short of perfect! The view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. The home was spotless, well-equipped, and had a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with gorgeous scenery, this place is highly recommended! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Beautiful views and fun swimming

The house was well stocked, very clean, and breathtaking when you first enter. Huge windows overlook the lake. Being near the dam, you get the undercurrent water from Lake Travis, which seems to be cooler and more pleasant than most of Lake Travis in the summer.

Outstanding location

We absolutely loved everything about the house. The location was perfect, and the views incredible. The house was so nice and bright, and the decor simple and elegant. The house was well supplied, and exceptionally clean. The owner/manager was very responsive. Overall, it was an absolute pleasure we would would stay here atain!

The perfect weekend getaway!

I cannot recommend this home enough! I spent the weekend there with friends and everyone was raving about how amazing it was. It was perfectly clean, the view was incredible, and it had all the accommodations you could ever need. Katie was very helpful and responsive. I would absolutely come back!

Great home base for a weekend in Austin

Had a great weekend stay for my bachelor party. Honestly could have spent the entire weekend at the house and on the dock. Great house, beautiful views. Katie was awesome and helpful. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice house on Lake Travis. Easy Uber/Lyft into Austin for nights out. 10/10

Impeccable! Views stunning!

My husband and I stayed in this gorgeous home with her two teenage grandkids and a six and a four-year-old grandkid, as we were visiting our son who works in San Antonio. Everything was immaculate. The views were outstanding!! The communication with Katie was superb. I’m not big on do overs for trips, but this is definitely a do over! Thank you for everything. Caveat: getting to the boat landing is adventurous and requires excellent motor skills… but worth the trip down.

Quiet, Relaxing Tree House on the Lake

I booked this as a home base for a party I threw for my sister. Although the weather wasn't too cooperative for sunning and hanging out on the water, the spacious space left plenty of room indoors for us to enjoy ourselves. Hot tub was a fantastic touch after a long evening! One thing not photographed is the porch beneath the house. We used it for morning yoga (it's very spacious), but it would be (another) great spot to just enjoy the view. The only downside is the long, spiraly walk down to the water, but still a five star stay! Mrs. Street was a huge help through the whole process as well.

Perfect vacation Lake House!

The view was magnificent! All the area of the house (except for the bedroom with 4 beds) has large windows looking out to the lake. Kitchen tools fully stocked, we didn't need a thing. Large refrigerator to stock all the groceries. Layout of the house is open and welcoming! Love the separate balconies for those that need some alone time. You might see in the pictures the spiral stairs, it's a bit tight but other than that easy to maneuver. We enjoyed the dock very much! Beware the water is deep so be careful crossing from the stairs to the dock. We went to Dick's sporting goods to buy some life vest for kids so that they can paddle board out to the lake. The house is in a great location that we were just 10 minutes from Just for Fun to rent a pontoon for the day. Overall it was perfect for my family! They can't stop asking when we will be going back!

Homeowner needs to pay some serious attention to the property. Great views balances out neglect

Really needs a lot of work to be awesome. Rotten wood, moldy AC vents, front door covered in leaves and broken ceiling fan on ground is not acceptable. Nor were owner responses. All blinds inoperable. Wait to rent till it’s been worked on. Really bad experience On the whole. We do a lot of travel, this was not up to billing.

Hi Chris, as we discussed when you booked, you were booking last minute just after we had some major storms come through and I told you I wouldn't be able to go see the house before you arrived but you still wanted to book the property and I even discounted your stay due to possible unforeseen issues with the last minute booking. I wish you had made me aware of these issues ruining your trip during your stay because I would have had our maintenance guys out there right away to blow off the leaves and fix the fan and vents. I'm not sure what responses you did not find satisfactory. Since we were in close communication leading up to your stay, I'm not sure why you chose to leave this review instead of just asking me for help during your stay. It took weeks for this review to post and I would have much rather helped to make your stay as pleasant as possible at the time. To future guests reading this review, please know that over the winter, we have done work to the house to reinforce the siding and correct any water damage from the storms last year. Blinds and fans are operable so you have nothing to worry about booking our home. I am always easily reachable and we have reliable maintenance contacts close by if you do happen to have an issue during your stay. If you are concerned at all, please feel free to reach out to me. Breathtaking views!

Property was very nice & well appointed. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location- grocery and retail just a minute away, but still secluded enough to feel off the beaten path. Views second to none. Electronic shades are a nice! Beds comfortable, decor modern. Lots of closet and pantry space. Inflatables available for use. Communication with host was excellent. Overall, a beautiful property. Owner warns the walk to the dock is difficult. Heed this warning. There are 150 steps including spiral staircases. The last set of steps are not anchored to the ground and there are no handrails. No bridge to dock- must walk over large unstable rocks. We didn't spend time on the dock bc too hard to access. I'm in excellent shape and found it tricky. It was impossible for some in our party. The paddle boards were unusable - need to be replacedA few things not mentioned in listing: the home does have three full bathrooms (listing said 2.5) and the laundry room is inside of one of those bathrooms. We are given a code to get in which made check in super easy- but there are key pads on several doors so make sure you know the entry key pad is inside a small enclosed area - not the keypad you see when you 1st walk up. Host was super attentive and responsive. Would consider staying again.
