We had a very comfortable stay at the Mid-Century Modern home in Rapid City. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the property and its amenities. The hosts were very responsive when we had any questions.
We enjoyed our stay and appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cooking pans, etc. It would be nice if the back of the house had blinds on the sliding glass door to stop the neighbor dogs from seeing us and barking. We would stay here again though, it was very comfortable!
Overall based on our experience this was one of our best reservations in last 4 years. No issues, we highly recommend and if have another chance will book again.
The house is cute and plenty of room. It is close to down town and story book island which our little girl loved. The property manager was great and very responsive when we had a question. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The property was a great jumping off point for the various activities our family wanted to do in the Black Hills and the surrounding area. The neighborhood was generally very quiet and the house was stocked with the items we needed. Loved the toaster so much we ordered one for home! The hosts were also excellent communicators which made staying there even better.
We stayed here on our trip to Mt Rushmore and the Black hills. The location was ideal- close to the places we wanted to visit and also, had grocery shops and restaurants nearby. The house was 'charming' as listed and was perfect for our group of 7. The kitchen is updated and the utensils are high quality. The den downstairs was enjoyed by our sons and we briefly, enjoyed the deck. I also liked how the house is decorated and noticed the book shelf had a lot of books on travel, especially about the Black hills and surrounding areas. We spent only 2 days, so couldn't get to read those. Overall, we had a great time and would consider staying again if visiting Rapid City again.
We booked this while visiting the surrounding sites like Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Crazy Horse, Deadwood. Great location for visiting the area. Close enough to downtown for restaurants and nightlife. Quiet neighborhood.
The house was very clean had everything you might need. Matt was very responsive. Definitely recommend if you are visiting.
It would be nice to be able to open the windows. We could only open the door-wall. We would have liked to enjoy fresh air more.
This house was a comfortable and cozy stay for our time in Rapid City. The owners communicated well and were very chill about getting in and out of our stay. The house is located in a neighborhood that felt safe and fairly quiet. There are neighbors, so the occasional dog or car was around. They've done a very good job with the kitchen renovation, it was excellent and had all the equipment and staples that we needed. The beds were all comfortable and the upstairs bath was renovated. They have also equipped the bedrooms with air conditioners to help out when it's hot outside. The location was good, only 5-10 minutes from groceries, gas, and downtown, yet far enough away that the streets were quiet. Overall, it was a good stay and served our needs well.
We booked this house in the heart of Sturgis week in Rapid City. It is in a quiet neighborhood only a mile from Storybook Island (a free place that young children love. A 25 min. drive from Mt Rushmore, 45 min. from Sylvan lake in Custer State Park, an hour from the badlands. It is a good home base for fun exploration of the Black Hills. We were the properties first guests. The owners/manager was great to work with and went out of their way to make us welcome. We had 2 adults and 4 kids in the group. The adults each took thier own room, 2 kids shared the king bed and we put the other two on blow up mattresses in the tv room. Everyone was happy to have plenty of space, yet we were all together for fun as friends! The kitchen was well equipped for breakfast and supper cooking needs. If all VRBO’s were like this one we’d never stay in a hotel again.
