New Nordic 6 person Hot Tub with northern light package in quiet back yard. Enjoy the hot tub with a camo fire in the back ground. Experience Port Austin like a local in this charming 2-bedroom cottage. Nestled in a serene setting, this enchanting retreat features 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed full on the bottom, twin on top. With heating, AC, and WiFi, guests can relax in comfort. The bathroom offers a refreshing shower. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place. Just a short walk toa spacious beach with minimal traffic, the beach is not open to the public. Back yard is shared between two cottages.

Place was super cute and clean! We stayed overnight for a wedding and it was a perfect landing spot with enough room for a few people. Although we didn't spend muich time in thr cabin, it was nice to have the big dining table, living area, and full kitchen. Definitely would come again!

Such a cute cottage with amazing access to a private beach. The beach is across the road but very easy to walk to. I loved staying just outside of port Austin because it was nice and quite yet a short drive to get into town. I do think the cottage could have more mirrors there is only the one in the bathroom. We also couldn’t figure out how to use the hose outside which was sad because the kids got sandy at the beach and it would have been nice to rinse them off before going inside. But honestly we plan on going back to post Austin in the future and we would definitely check to see if this place was available because the location was perfect and the house was simple, clean and nicely decorated. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Off-Season Get Away

This cabin was great for a quick get away during the off season. It's a short walk to the beach of Lake Huron and just a few miles from a number of state park hiking trails.

Several aspects of the property were disappointing:The website photos were very misleading and did not accurately represent the condition of the property. The hot tub was dirty, with cloudy, foamy water that did not appear to be properly maintained. The coffee pot was not functioning during our stay. There was no wine bottle opener or wine glasses available in the kitchen. A large bee nest was located above the entrance door, creating a safety concern. Spider webs were visible around the front entrance, giving the property an unkempt appearance. The listing stated that beach access was "across the street," but we were never able to locate the access point. This description appears inaccurate and should be clarified. There were no instructions provided for operating the heating, cooling system, or the hot tub, making it difficult to use the property's amenities.We chose this property based on the listing description and photos, and unfortunately the actual experience fell short of those expectations. We hope these issues can be addressed for future guests.

Kitchen was a great set up. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. We could have used more direction about how to close up the cabin upon leaving, where to put trash, used bedding etc. We also were looking for some sort of directions for the hot tub.

Cottage was clean but we had bugs (spiders, gnats and ants) in the bathroom but the rest of the place bug free. We were disappointed with how far from the lake the property was but the beach for this unit was great. Didn't use the kitchen but it looked well stocked. The furniture was very comfortable and the tv and WIFI were also excellent. Last little nit pick, the water had a smell to it. Overall nice place.

It's a little misleading. You have to walk across the street and down a little ways to get to the beach. You have to share the hot tub with another cabin. You have to buy your own firewood. Propane grill was out with no spare. No place to hang up wet clothes. Pay 30 dollars more a day for a screen in porch but there's no furniture on it.

We really enjoyed our stay . The only issue we had was that there was a ant problem. Small ants on the kitchen counter and in the bathroom. We had to throw some dough nuts and pastry away because of the ants.

I have always wanted to own property on lake Huron since being a young child. As a young child my family would vacation here every year.

Beautiful and relaxing hot tub in the quiet back yard. Enjoy a good book in the hammock. Grill dinner and enjoy the picnic tables. Finish off a relaxing night around the campfire or with a long walk on the beach.
