Charming cottage home sets on a quaint 20 acre farm with horses and a vineyard situated 10 minutes from downtown Lexington and Midway and 15 minutes from Keeneland and the Horse Park. We are near I-64 conveniently on the same side to get to the Bourbon Distilleries in Versailles, Frankfort and getting to Louisville Churchill Downs. You get to enjoy the best of both worlds with the city and the country combined. Accommodations are a quaint cottage guest house behind the owners main house on the farm. The cottage offers plenty of privacy. knotty pine floors, house has been renovated completely, updated, microwave, full-size refrigerator, two cable TV' and WiFi. Towels and Linens provided.Fully furnished with a stocked kitchen to cook whatever you like, one bedroom with king size bed and privacy, two twin beds in a common area, full-kitchen, living room area and one bathroom. There are no neighbors. Dogs are allowed upon approval before arrival and fee is 25.00 per day for each dog. Dog rules must be met

Quaint cottage on beautiful property

Lexington layover was perfect

My wife, 2 dogs, & I wanted to stop somewhere after about 10 hours of driving home from the Outer Banks. Leslie & Allen’s cottage on their farm was perfect. Private, but owners are very close if needed. Updated farmhouse cottage had tons of space for us & our dogs. Location just outside the city which is an easy 10 to 15 minutes away. Was great location for a couple of distillery visits and my bourbon hunting. Also really enjoyed the arboretum with our dogs. Next visit to Lexington, we’ll be checking if the cottage has vacancy. Highly recommended.

Fall Getaway

Short stay for visit to Horse Park and onto Gatlinburg. Al and Leslie made sure the cottage had anything you would need, and were super hosts!!

Perfect Spot for a Trip to KY

This was my second time staying here; the first was with my daughter for a college visit five years ago and this time with my husband for some R&R in the Lexington area. It was as cozy and comfortable as I remembered it, but without the horses that we befriended last time. The bedroom bed is super comfortable -- I wanted to bring those sheets home with us! The kitchen was well outfitted so we could make our breakfast in-house (thanks for having turmeric in the drawer!). I wish we could have stayed longer.

Anniversary Getaway

We loved the property, the hosts, and the cottage! Relaxing, beautiful, and felt like home! Great location for picking up quick eats but they have everything you need if you love to cook! Definitely plan on staying here!

Quaint cottage

Quiet location but still close to city. Driveway was a little hard to find first time. The cottage felt like my grandma's house. The tub is a little tricky if you are short like me. Leslie and Al were very nice to talk with.

Perfect place!

My wife and I had a short stay here for our anniversary. The house was clean and had everything. Minutes from downtown, but the house is on a beautiful farm. We plan on staying here again.

Cozy cottage

The cottage was cozy and the host was very accommodating. They had everything you could possibly need. The host were very sweet people. You could see horses and deer on the property.

Perfect cottage on a farm/vineyard

This property ended up being one of our favorites! It was so clean, comfortable and well equipped. From the bedding to the kitchen utensils/appliances. It was a perfect get away. We enjoyed just sitting in the yard and relaxing!! The sunsets were also amazing!! We hope to return!!

Oasis in Horse Country

We absolutely loved our stay in the cottage! It was beautiful, comfortable, and just what we needed. The kids and I enjoyed seeing the horses right on the fence line. So many things to go and see with a perfect location to not be far from anything! The hosts are so very kind and hospitable people. We hope to visit again!

Great location!

Excellent location to all sights around Lexington. Enjoyed feeding the horses carrots with my family. The guesthouse was equipped with most everything. Would have loved to spend more time outside as the property was beautiful but hungry mosquitos were all over, did not experience that elsewhere in Lexington.

Beautiful stay with a country feel close to town!

My husband, daughter and I stayed here over Breyerfest weekend at the Kentucky Horse Park. The property is beautiful with a country feel but close to everything. The worst part for us was not getting to spend enough time there but coming back after long, hot days at the KY Horse Park over the weekend was like coming home and so relaxing! Leslie was very kind and made great communication through our entire stay and we enjoyed meeting Al one evening and learning a little about the history of their farm and vineyard. Being a horse lover myself, my favorite part was visiting their beautiful horses. The cottage was perfect, clean, and very cozy. We loved the old wood floors and the bed was very comfortable! My almost 3 year old daughter did NOT want to leave the "white house" she kept referring it to as. She enjoyed the tree swing as well one evening. We would most definitely love to stay here again in the future and highly recommend if you're looking for something quiet, clean, safe, cozy, and close to all the fun activities around Lexington and surrounding areas who have wonderful owners (Leslie & Al) who take pride in their property and are everything a host should be!

Great place!

Beautiful property! The home was clean and very comfortable. Owner kept in touch via text to see if I had any questions. Very relaxing to sit in the back yard and watch the birds and horses. I would highly recommend.

Relaxing and Peaceful

This property is amazing. Out the back you see horses and to the side you see a small vineyard. The owners have taken great pains to ensure every detail is simply perfect!

Perfect KY weekend

This property is wonderful. We had everything we needed and more to enjoy our long weekend. There was plenty of space in the cottage, room for my kids to play outside and enjoy watching the horses, and we only wish we had more time. The hosts were communicative and welcoming. If we come back to KY we will be staying again!

Beautiful Kentucky cottage

This place is so cute!!!!! We have stayed before! The property is amazing. Very quiet and safe. The owners are very nice. Always so helpful. And they have really awesome wine that they make! Silver Springs farm is worth the stay!
