Great beach access. Walkable to main area of folly but it is about a mile so depends on your idea of walkable. The place was very clean and nice!

Great place to stay, close to beach and had whatever needed. Pull out needs a new mattress but overall great! We’d stay again!

My wife and I slept downstairs and are accustomed to white noise. Guests not used to constant noise may find the noise made by the unit’s return fan (near the doorway into the kitchen) undesirable.

Great location!

What a perfect spot for a quick beach get-away! It is right across the street from a public access. As a rare bonus, they also have beach chairs and towels for guests! The host was EXTREMELY responsive and accommodating. One of the ACs went out early morning and by that afternoon it was replaced! Awesome little spot!

Great location. Right near a beach access, and still walkable to center street. Perfect for a quick weekend away with the dogs!

Grandparent trip

We brought our 14 year old granddaughter here. She wanted to learn to surf, learn some history and zip line. We did all plus more. We all love the ocean and walked piut our door, crossed the street and there it was. Great location. Everythng was clean and very nice. We had what we needed in the kitchen and plenty of towels and great beds. Hostesses was great and got back to us very quickly on questions we had. Great way to.experience Charleston and Folly Beach.

Excellent location

We had a great time at this property. Just across the street from the beach and close to the main strip of Folley Beach. The property was just as described and will definitely be back.

Fall getaway

We had a wonderful time in this very clean and well appointed townhouse just a five minute walk to the beach. Also, a 10 minute walk to the dog park and pickleball courts. The rental process was easy. Will come again and have already shared Chastain’s Cottages with friends and family!

The unit was very close to the beach, walking distance to central avenue. Very clean. Minor issues were the outside cooking and eating area was right next to the road, and the kitchen lacked normal supplies that other places we have stayed had as standard.

Great location

Right across from the beach! Place was clean and beds comfortable. The only downside is there is no washer and dryer and that was a little rough with young kids. But the walk to the beach was easy for even toddlers it was so close.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay and the place was clean and easy to get in and out. Beds were comfy and linens fresh and clean, even the comforters had been cleaned which is not always the case. I forgot coffee filters but Bert's store is open 24/7 and very close by. Be sure to read all the pet rules for Folly Beach Beach or the police will surely stop to inform you as they are everywhere!

Charming

Nice place very very close to the beach, first time for me at folly Beach and first time for the puppy dog at the beach. She would have enjoyed your fenced in area better, but overall it was an amazing time

We are a small family business. Chastain's Cottages was started in the 1940's when Eula and Lois Chastain moved to Folly Beach from Thomasville GA. This home was build by them and originally had a store in it as well. Lunnette Kinard won the Miss Folly Beach pageant a few years ago (she is not telling the date!) and is still affectionately known as Miss Folly Beach by the locals. Alicia is 3rd generation and will be able to help answer any questions for you.
