Very Clean, large, plenty of room for 10 people. Pool and Hot tub are great to come home to and relax after a long day at the beach. We loved the central location, short drive to 7 mile beach and not too far for Rum Point. Communication from owners is excellent and very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone!

Our stay at the Luxurious Chateau was excellent. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The hot tub was always 99.5 degrees (checked often w/roasting thermometer!) Everything was clean and accommodating. The host and house attendant were always very responsive, cordial and also very accommodating. We felt very safe in all surroundings of the home and island. I would recommend this facility 100 percent.

We enjoyed this house for our 2 families of 4. The host was very welcoming before and during our arrival, and the house was large enough for all of us, with the rooms being very clean and comfortable. The house was well stocked with dishes, spices, towels and more. The only thing missing was a sufficient grill and shampoo/conditioner (and beach chairs which we donated to the house.) It was nice to have the washer/dryer and 2 fridges. Parking was plentiful and the neighborhood was quiet.We absolutely loved the backyard with a nice pool, large hot tub and a beautiful garden. It was nice to sit outside and relax in the Caribbean air!You have to drive to restaurants and Seven Mile Beach is 20-25 min, but we knew that going in. You could walk to Spotts Beach (about 18-20 min), which was a nice beach with snorkeling. Airport only 15 minutes away.The gardeners came one morning and stayed for about 2 hours. While I know this has to be done to maintain the amazing yard, it was loud, smelly (gas), and disruptive and it would have been nice to have been coordinated or communicated. After they finished, they sprayed pesticides around the pool which, thank goodness, we saw so we knew to wear shoes outdoors. Overall, we loved the house, and would absolutely recommend it to other renters. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their property and want to share their love of Grand Cayman with their guests.

This was our second visit to GC and it was ideal. The location was perfect for getting to all areas of the island without spending extended time in the vehicle. We were a party of 9 and there was plenty of space for everyone to have their own space but we really enjoyed the gazebo, pool and hot tub. The owners were awesome and quickly responded to questions regarding fishing charters etc. Carrie was amazing, she was available to answer questions but was extremely respectful of our time and I only saw her at check in. Definitely a home run stay!

Felt like home

This house was perfect for our extended family with ages 7 to 78. The location is great, close to everything if renting a car, but far enough away from the busy cruise ship scene. The house has more than you need in the kitchen. The pool and hot tube are fantastic, and the host is great to work with. We would highly recommend.

Amazing stay at Cherie’s house

We were on Grand Cayman to do a job in Georgetown, so it was myself and 4 other adults. The house was perfect as we each had our bedroom. The house spotlessly clean and had everything you could ever need. The house itself is perfectly situated near Spotts Beach in Boddentown. 15 minutes to Georgetown. We spent a lot of time at Spotts beach when we weren’t working as it’s only 2 minutes from the house. We saw numerous turtles every time we went snorkeling. Cherie was super helpful and responsive and gave us numerous local recommendations. She couldn’t have been more helpful and nice.

Perfect Cayman Mansion

This property is stunning and has everything you need :) We were thrilled with the property, the location, the hosts, and the accommodations! Cherie, the host, is accommodating and excellent with communication, and Arlene, the property manager, was very nice and helpful when we arrived. The property was about a 5-minute drive to Spott Beach and only a 20-minute drive to Smith's Cove which was our favorite.

Perfect House

This is the most beautiful VRBO property I’ve stayed. All of the accommodations were wonderful from the beds and linens, to the full kitchen with everything you need to make meals. The pool and hot tub were outstanding and we sat out in the covered gazebo each morning and read. The beach is Avery short drive away as well as the grocery and dining options. I highly recommend this property, the owners and Kerry the caretaker who helped us a few times while we were here.

Fantastic Family/Group Rental!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We had 3 families with children & it was perfect for us all. Lots of space with large bedrooms. Common areas were comfortable & kitchen was so well stocked for us to cook & eat together. The pool and backyard was amazing. Kids swam & swam! Personal conversations with the owner & house manager were easy & welcomed. Couldn’t have had a better house for our stay!

Large comfortable house.

The property is beautiful. The house is fully stocked with appliances, kitchen supplies, towels, etc. The pool and hot tub are very nice but the pool is not heated. The shower pressure is poor. The location is good and it's only a 20 minute drive to 7 mile beach.

Thank you Edward. Yes, we are renovating the master bath soon to alleviate the pressure problem. Most of the year the pool is very warm because of the extremely warm temperatures on the island so a heater is not needed. Thank you for your input. Glad you enjoyed. Happy New Year.

Covid Relief

Very nice house and easy to find with Waze, etc. and close to grocery store. Pool and jacuzzi were great. Kitchen well equipped and easy to use. Water pressure is somewhat low, and hot water in the bathrooms could use some improvement. Overall it was a very nice experience spending a week at this house with our family.

A beautiful house

We had the pleasure of staying at this stunning home in the Cayman Islands for a week while attending my daughter’s wedding—and it truly made the entire experience unforgettable. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and immaculately maintained, with every amenity you could possibly need. The pool and spa tub were lovely.The location was ideal—close enough to everything we needed for the wedding festivities, yet peaceful and private enough to be peaceful. We saw turtles at the nearby Spotts beach and nothing was more than a short drive away. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing with family and friends, and we made so many memories just sitting by the pool, soaking in the sunshine.We stayed as 2 couples with our 3 adult children and there was more than enough space for everyone.The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure everything was just right for our stay. From start to finish, the experience exceeded all expectations. I can’t recommend this property highly enough—whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a luxurious escape, this is the place to be!

Great stay in Savana estates

The property was located perfectly for our first visit to the Cayman Islands. We were three couples that thoroughly enjoyed the large bedrooms, the beautiful pool and hot tub very close location to spot beach and the grocery store and liquor store. We enjoyed staying in the quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle, bustle, but a quick drive if you wanted to enjoy the busier scene and Cayman Island. The home is very well equipped with every appliance and dish you would want. The only thing that we felt needed upgrading was maybe some cushions for the lounge chairs around the pool. We were lucky enough to see an assortment of iguanas and parrots daily in the beautiful backyard. It is a beautiful property to stay at, and we would return.

Home away from home

We were lucky enough to be the first family to stay in the house since covid. This is the second time we stayed in this house. It’s not on the beach but the perfect location. You can walk to the local grocery store and the beach is just 10 minutes away. There owner provides you with EVERYTHING you need. Perfect house if you have a larger family. The back yard is perfect! It has a nice size pool, jacuzzi and a gazebo with lights. The owner is very responsive! Will definitely be back.

Beautiful home

Our family of 6 stayed here recently and had a wonderful time. The home is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. We used the pool and hot tub daily and cooked out several times on the built in outdoor grill. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to visit the area but have some seclusion from busier areas like Seven Mile Beach. The owner, Cherie, responded immediately to any questions we had. *Bonus - we were able to watch the New Years Eve fireworks displays from the house* I would recommend Smiths Cove for snorkeling and either Rackams Waterfront Restaurant and Bar or Silver Side Restaurant and Rum Bar for wonderful meals on the water. We loved both!

Take pictures be aware of the on site manager

Have stayed at thus property many times with no problems and would always recommend as the place to go. But, all must know there is a new on-site property manager who resides on top floor. If going for a secluded private get away, just expect you will have more privacy in a hotel. Further. Accused of causing damage which is 100% false and absurd. Take photos before and after.

Our new tenant that resides on the third floor has been given nothing but rave reviews by all guests that have stayed in our home . . . . until now. This accusation is unfounded. The guest was disgruntled because it was requested that the doors be locked when the house was not occupied. Also, at checkout time, one guest was still sleeping so I am sure this was an inconvenience. All the while, checkout time is clearly communicated in the online instructions and in the house notebook. It is our desire to provide every guest with as many amenities as possible. A safe and secure home that is clean and prepared upon each guests' arrival is a top priority for us. In the years that we have opened our home through HomeAway and VRBO, we have not received any bad reviews nor have we ever had to give a bad review on a customer until now. . .reviews work both ways.

Wonderful stay

We (a total of 3 families, each with at least one child) stayed at the property during late February. The onsite caretaker is responsive and helpful but unobtrusive. We did not notice her unless she was helping out (she was great). The bedrooms provided each family with privacy, a bathroom, and sufficient space. The kitchen is better equipped than most rentals—we sauteed and baked many great meals. The pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. The outdoor space has shade at any time of day and space for people to gather in a group or spread out. The closest beach (Spotts) is not easily walkable but only a few minutes drive (we saw many turtles and fish). Highly recommended.

Nothing short of spectacular

The Serene Savannah estate is an amazing home that will delight all travelers. It's location is perfect in being located within easy driving distance of Seven Mile beach and West Bay, and also Rum Point and the East coast of Grand Cayman. Grocery shopping options are also within a few minutes drive from this lovely estate. The home itself if absolutely gorgeous, with lots of room. It is tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The kitchen has everything you could need and more. Towels ( both bath and beach) were plentiful. The onsite property manager is delightful and very responsive. The pool and spa, located feet from the back door were a real bonus for us. Thank you Collins family for providing a top notch estate for our adventures on Grand Cayman. We hope to return .

Beautiful Villa

It pains me to break the 5-star streak for this lovely property. The villa itself is indeed great. Spacious and comfortable. There was just one major issue that impacted us personally. I am really surprised no other reviewer has mentioned this; perhaps we are unordinarily light sleepers. This issue is beyond the owner's control, but there are these wild chickens that run around the island. This neighborhood has an incredibly annoying Rooster, who starts crowing at 4:30 a.m. every morning. Yes, that is before the sun comes up, so so much for that fable. Said Rooster does not just crow at 4:30 to wake people up. He doesn't stop crowing, so there is no going back to sleep. No one wants to go on vacation to wake up at 4:30 every single day. Since no other reviewer has mentioned this, it may not impact everyone. But, it did us and I can't give 5 stars for a place from which I came home more tired from than I was before I left for vacation. The location was also challenging for us to get to diving in the mornings. I went off of google maps showing it was about 24 minutes from our dive shop. The problem is, google maps doesn't account for traffic and there is an extraordinary amount in the mornings of locals coming by the villa into George Town and Seven Mile. The 24 minute drive took us an hour in the morning and I nearly missed my dive. So, just plan accordingly if you are planning to dive while staying at this villa. In the morning, it is an hour to the Yacht Club. The villa could use a few minor upgrades: the kitchen could use some better knives (I could barely cut a pineapple) and a non-stick pan for eggs would be good; the only real TV is in the living room, but the cable is just a handful of channels (the TV in the Master is DVD only). But, for what you get in this place, the price is hard to beat on the island. We would not stay again, however, because of the Rooster and commute to diving, which is my primary purpose for coming to the island. I would definitely recommend the place for anyone for whom those two things are not a concern.

I would like to thank you for the positive words regarding our home. I find it necessary to encourage the future readers of this review to understand the purpose of a property review. The environmental factors of the island such as the roosters and all other wildlife near our property are protected by the government. They roam the island and there is not anything property owners can do to eliminate the potential disturbance. As far as the commute, traffic is similar to the states during peak hours. However, the island engineers are working to find a better solution for reaching one side of the island to the other. There are dive sites much closer to our home, for future guests that choose to stay at our property. Regarding the TV, because this is a family vacation home for our family, we chose to have one main area for theater entertainment. If separate areas of viewing are needed we provide wifi and guests can use their laptops and access netflix, youtube,etc. There are two knife sharpeners in the knife drawer and the kitchen is stocked with three non-stick pans. Our on site property manager can be contacted at anytime to resolve issues such as this in a timely manner.

We have an onsite tenant that resides in the home in a private apartment on the third level. She enters and exits through the garage, therefore she shares one stairwell. She is there to answer any questions or assist with any problems that may arise during your stay.
