I have been spending time between the ocean and the mountains for years. I have never felt so relaxed as when i spend my time here in my home in Colorado. There is something about the cool, clean mountain air, the starry nights and the charm of the town of Carbondale that keeps me coming back.
Annie Teasdale purchased this condo in 2012

We just returned from a very enjoyable vacation out West and the highlight of the trip was our visit to Carbondale. We have been there many times and have concluded that Annie's condo is the ideal place to stay in this charming town. It is centrally located, so everything is within walking distance, but the area is quiet and private. The condo itself is spacious and very comfortable, with everything you would need, even for an extended stay. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays there, and hope to return soon.
We have stayed with Annie for a number of years and come back every summer for more! The condo is wonderful with awesome views of Mt. Sopris to the south and the redrock hills to the west from the large third story deck. The location is central and ideal - literally a block off Main Street Carbondale, and right on the Rio Grande trail which we ride to Aspen nearly everyday. We love Carbondale and the entire Roaring Forks Valley and we consider it to be truly among the most beautiful places in all of Colorado. We have taken day trips to nearby Aspen, Marble, Crystal, Paonia, and Crested Butte for hiking , jeeping and mountain biking and we still have many nearby areas that remain unexplored. We'll be back for sure - thanks Annie for sharing your awesome home with us!
Here I sit on our last night of 17 nights in Annie’s luxury downtown Carbondale apartment. It’s a very nice apartment, but it has a few thing that need to be addresses.
Just took somewhat of a shower in one of two showers that don’t really work. In the master bedroom/ bath it’s a hand held shower head that won’t stay on the wall correctly and therefore sprays everywhere. In the hall way bathroom, you get 25 very small sprays of water, some hot and some cold. I hope you like the bath tub, because that’s the safest place to bathe.
Next the well appointed kitchen and it is, except for a 4 cup coffee pot and no microwave oven. It is also very spaces and nice for 2 people.
Next, to the city noise. In the summer one must keep the windows open to keep it cool in the day. No AC and we understand that as you don’t need it. But, you’re just off main street and the street you are on has cars and big trucks all day, some at night and a lot starting a 6 AM.
In the bedroom/ bath there are very few draws to put your clothes away. There is a very big closet, just no dresser that you can use so our clothes were left in suite cases on the floor. And, the only TV in the apartment is in the bedroom so no late night TV and you can only watch while sitting in bed, no room for even one chair.
Other than these few things it is very nice and we made the best of it. Being able to walk to anything downtown is nice. Don’t bring a big car the parking area is small.
We first looked for a place in Glenwood Springs but found this place in Carbondale and it was just right, nearby restaurants, shops and next to a major bike trail. Great outside deck for relaxing after a long day and plenty of room to spread out inside which was very nice with all the furnishings. The condo complex is smaller than most so it felt very private to us, definitely not as busy as Glenwood but still near to all the fun activities the Roaring Fork valley offers.
Carbondale is in the heart of the roaring fork valley between aspen and Glenwood springs. it offers wonderful outdoor activities to excellent art galleries, restaurants, live music, Colorado's most scenic vistas etc
