Little get away

Overall it was a nice trip, although since there is only one bathroom next time I will bring extra mirrors since only one is in the bathroom and the dryer does not dry very well you will have to run it 4 times to dry a load of towels

The place was small. Check in was a disaster got a parking violation because they forgot to give me a pass. Didn’t explain the upgrade part til after a day. Was not able to use a free pass per day. Kitchen items were dirty. Definitely need black out curtains.

The location was ideal. The property was just ok. They had recently remodeled the place but the workmanship was below par. The front door was not hung properly with gaps that not only let daylight through but also the humidity. The blinds were sub-par. There was a street light next to the bedroom windows that lit the rooms all night. The bathroom was not remodeled but was adequate. They suggested a lot of things to bring because they said it wasn't supplied ie. coffee, napkins, trash bags and toiletries. However, there were some travel size toiletries and trash bags. The floor boards in the bedrooms had gaps where they didn’t meet up with the baseboards. I would also have liked a coffee table to set up games or puzzles. The kitchen was small but well stocked with coffe maker, toaster, microwave, stove, dishwasher, and plenty of pots, pans, dishes, cups, mugs, and utensils.

The condo was great. A little older, but that was fine. It was clean and exactly what we needed for our visit to the area. The beds were very comfortable. The only negative was the communication from the owner. Upon checking in, the info stated there were two parking passes above the refrigerator. There were no parking passes anywhere in the condo. I texted the owner at around 5pm since the check-in information stated the owners were quick to respond up until 9pm. I did not get a response until the next morning AFTER a parking violation ticket/warning was put on my vehicle overnight. The owner advised that someone would bring a parking pass by the condo. We went to the beach for a couple of hours, came back to the condo and get ready to go out for dinner. Still no passes. Meanwhile, ANOTHER parking violation ticket was placed on my vehicle advising that the vehicle would be towed and listed a phone number to call. After calling the phone number, i made contact with the on-property office person who gave me a parking pass. I don't like leaving negative reviews/comments, but maybe because of this review the owner can rectify this and the next guest(s) won't have the same issues.
