Amazing! Gulfview Villa in Beautiful Quiet Resort C0036A

Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.
Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

This year you could still see damage from last years hurricanes but they are working hard getting everything back to normal.

This villa was well maintained and clean. It was also a little further north on the resort grounds which meant less activity. Very pleased with the vacation and plan to return again soon!

Reviewer Comments: beautifyul place, amazing beaches. but no after rent service. once you pay and go in.. they forget about you. called the office several time, no answer. only restaurant for BF on insland opens late. with kids, its tuff for breakfast. if we go again, hope they are better in service.

Family Beach Vacay!

However, I cannot give 5 stars for the property management because I was charged twice for my stay and no one returned my phone calls. I was very disappointed and I had to contact my bank about the issue. Ultimately, I was my account was credited a week later after calling again, but now I am still waiting for my bank to sort out the transaction.

Did not appreciate being the hastled by some security officer for riding our golf cart after 9pm. He was driving recklessly and scaring people by driving in front of them and telling them to stop and interegating them. This was totally not necessary. My wife and I are in our 60's and don't need that. Property was very well kept up and cleaner than in the past few years. Not happy that we stayed in a 3 bedroom place and I was charged on the ferry for a 3rd vehicle. Our place slept 8 comfortably w 4 beds and 3 baths, this needs to be reevaluated.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was as good as I had hoped. Friday was great...We had the beach up by Lands End 36 and the pool to ourselves. By Saturday and Sunday the young families arrived and the parents allowed their children to go crazy. So much for your pool rules. Here's a suggestion, if you have no intention of enforcing Palm Island rules which I assume are in place to give all the guests an opportunity to enjoy their stay, remove the signs and save money by releasing the so called Security Patrol people who. Actually do nothing more than ride across the island wearing down the batteries in their carts.

Our Best Stay Ever

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only unpleasant issue in an otherwise perfect stay concerns my son's later arrival. Peggy and I arrived Wednesday and our two sons and granddaughter were due to arrive Friday late day. We asked what was the procedure with the Ferry since the cottage we were staying in allowed for two cars on the Island. We were told to just let the front desk know when we arrived and their name would be added to the list of guest arrivals for Friday. When we checked in, Peggy told Faith who then wrote the name down on a piece of paper to add to the Friday guest list. Faith did not follow thru and as a result the name was not on the guest list for the Ferry men. The situation became tense when the Ferry man was not going to let my son pull his car off the Ferry until he resolved this somehow or paid like $65 or so. Faith needs to follow thru with important situations like we had.

Weathering Out A Storm

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A Tropical Depression/Hurricane could not ruin our final stay of the year 9-1-16 to 9-6-16. All of the Palm Island staff were fantastic and upbeat about the situation during the first 48 hours of our stay. Even offering credit for the stay towards a later trip had we decided to leave due to the weather. We stayed and were rewarded with the final 3 days of the best weather of the year. During the entire stay even through the wind and rain of the first 48 hours, all of the people who work to make Palm Island a 5 star vacation resort were right there doing it all as if it was just another day in paradise.

We have come to Palm Island Resort for about 30 straight years and have found no place better in the whole state of Florida. Kudos!
