Quiet, relaxing start to vacation.

We really enjoyed the view and peace and quiet at this resort. Whale watching from the balcony was so neat and waking up to the sound of the waves was awesome! Thank you for a beautiful start to our vacation.

Maui Trip

We were on the island for a wedding and stayed at the property to tour Maui before the wedding weekend. Everything was as described, clean and comfortable.

Great Vacation

Our stay here was excellent! Close to restaurants, beaches, grocery stores and anything you’d really need. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of towels and best of all a beautiful view from both the balcony and outside the door! Would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful Honeymoon Stay!

My wife and I stayed for a week during our honeymoon and everything about the property was great! The unit was clearly updated recently and had all the amenities we could ask for during our stay. While we loved going to the beachfront restaurants to enjoy the sunset, none beat the view from our own balcony!

Great Views

We had a great time staying here and appreciated all of the included items. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available and enjoyed the beach chairs and cooler. Didn't even use the boogie boards or fishing pole but loved having the option!

Nice Condo location

The Royal Kahana is well placed in West Maui. The building and property are nice places to stay. The kitchen is good, although the tight space makes some drawers interesting to open :). It would be nice to see some minor updates, such as the handles/knobs for turning on the tub/shower water. Overall though we had a really nice stay, and the view of the ocean was something we never got tired of. We were there during a lunar eclipse, and full moon for several nights, and those nights were quite special outdoors.

30th in Maui

We went to Maui to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Our visit was perfect. It was just what we needed after 2020 AKA the gap year. We fell asleep to the waves each evening. The views especially the sunset did not disappoint. The condo provided everything we needed right down to the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and cooler for the beach. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. Megan and Jeremy we great hosts. Mahalo.

Wonderful relaxing time on the lanai every day enjoying coffee and my book to watching the sunset. The booking process was easy. I had constant communication with the property manager. The condo was spotless and well maintained. The bed was comfy. I could not have asked for a better condo for my Maui vacation. I highly recommend it for its price, location, and view! I enjoyed walking to Maui Brewing Company, Dollies Pub, and the Beach House. All reasonably priced and close to the condo.

Royal Kahana #308

Our room was beautiful and the property is very nice with pool and small beach right in front. The view from our unit was outstanding and faced northwest, so we got cool breezes and not the hot afternoon sun. A few more oven pots and tuperwares would have been nice. Our check in was delayed because of a flight cancelation, and texting with the property management company was a little wonky- we are not big texters and would have preferred to speak with someone- But this is just a personal preference. Most people seem to love texting. A special bottle of wine, cookies and chocolate were left in our room because of the arrival inconvenience. Bed was very comfortable for us. Huge TV was nice, bit we didn't use it much because so much to do. We did use the BBQ's a few times.

GORGEOUS VIEWS FROM THE LANAI

Here for a four night stay..perfect location within walking distance of the Maui Brewing Company and the best little store: Whaler's Village, that has everything at a reasonable price. The nearest resort with a fun open bar/restaurant THE BEACH HOUSE at Sands of Kahana is a short walk away and that resort does have a beach. The.pool here is perfect size, plenty of chairs and loungers available with tables and umbrellas with a beautiful ocean view...note that this property has a seasonal beach and we were aware of that when we booked..the unit is bright, inviting, updated with sealife theme! And has the most comfortable pull out sleeper sofa! I was pleasantly surprised. Slept with the slider open and heard waves crashing and sealife all night long. So relaxing...would stay here again. Some things to note in this unit, the sliders are both hard to open and close, my friend said the tv in her master room didn't work, I didn't verify this. There's also a fitness room, various activities, ping pong table, corn hole, shuffle board, I believe. This is a great bargain if you want the large lanai with the great ocean views you can't go wrong. This is my second stay at Royal Kahana but not in the same unit!

This property delivered exactly as advertised. Super well managed/efficient process. Waking up to that view every morning was stunning! We spent a ton of time on the lanai.

Nice View, Some Issues

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit has a very nice ocean view. Upon entering I did notice a bit of a musty smell. The sheets on the bed were so damp they were almost wet. A couple things broke while I was there and in my opinion this unit needs a thorough maintenance update. Several drawers in the bathroom and kitchen do not open since they are obstructed by millwork or the kitchen stove. The doors to the washer/dryer do not close all the way as they are obstructed by the washer/dryer. Windows and sliders are difficult to open and close and the slider is difficult to lock. They are aluminum and could stand a replacement. The trim around the windows needs to be replaced as there are rust stains on it and it is in generally rough shape. The unit is cute in the pictures, and also cute in reality but the overall rough shape of the unit detracts from it's charm.
