Our fully central air conditioned condo unit 711 is beautifully appointed with island decor throughout. The master suite boasts a tropical trip-tic by a local artist. In addition, the dining and living areas also include original art. From the moment you step in the door you will be greeted by a breathtaking view of the ocean: Lana'i island to the left and Molokai island to the right. As you proceed to our 43ft. wraparound lanai, you will most often be greeted by green sea turtles as they feed on coral in the surf. You'll enjoy our free WiFi throughout the condo and cable TV in both bedrooms and the living room. Our full kitchen with new appliances is well stocked with service for 6 and a washer/dryer is located in the unit. The dining table seats 6. The master suite is large with a comfortable king bed w/luxury linens; a 42' flat panel TV/DVD; and a clock radio w/docking station. The guest bedroom has twin beds that convert to king if desired; a 36' flat screen TV/DVD; clock radio with docking station. Both main bathrooms include a tiled walk-in shower with luxury linens. The living room has a comfortable queen size foldout couch with large flat screen TV and DVD player. Free wireless internet (WIPI) is available within the unit. To the left as you walk in the front door is a bonus 1/2 bath which is desirable for when you have guests over to visit. The wraparound couch in the living room folds out to a queen bed, so the condo sleeps six comfortably. Three sets of sliders give access to the 43ft. wraparound lanai from the dining area, living area, and master bedroom. This provides breathtaking and seemingly private ocean and mountain views. The Royal Kahana property boasts a spacious pool area with a large heated pool; an impeccably maintained lawn area with lounge furniture for sunbathing; a large indoor cabana for dining and entertainment; several gas barbeques, ping pong tables, and shuffleboard. There is an exercise room with treadmills, weight machines, and stair-stepper. Parking is available outside or in the underground garage. The Royal Kahana resort charges $18 per day for parking.

Great location & beautiful ocean views

Easy check in and out. Condo was comfy and had good beach gear. Great views from the living room & lanai. Good location, with a few restaurants within walking distance. Pool was the perfect temperature.

Fantastic View

All four of us couldn't get enough of the view from the lanai over the water and the sunsets. It's a very comfortable condo for two couples.

Best balcony ocean view ever!

Our family (2 parent/2 teenagers) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Watching whales from the balcony while sipping coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening was wonderful. Condo kitchen was well equipped and the unit's beach gear was also very helpful. Great location as base for exploring lots of the island.

40th birthday Celebration

We had a great stay. The view was exceptional from the room. I would definitely recommend the accommodation to others looking for a place to stay on Maui. I loved watching the turtles in the area and the sunsets were stupendous. Everything went smoothly from booking to finding location and be able to entry location.

Amazing Views

Overall a great stay. There were AC issues but I still gave 5 stars. The unit was amazingly stocked. Communication was always extremely quick. You can't beat the views and the coffee and water available downstairs were a bonus. Four 50 something year old women had a great time!!

Excellent place to stsy

This was an amazing place to stay. The owners had absolutely everything we needed and more. The view was beautiful which we enjoyed daily while watching for turtles and watching the sunset in the wrap around balcony. The inside had comfortable furniture, a great kitchen, which we used everyday, and we loved having three bathrooms. We will definitely come back here again. It was the perfect place to get away.

My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Michael's condo. The views from the lanai were spectacular. Condo was well stocked with the necessary amenities. Very comfortable and great for just one couple but work work well for 2 couples as well. Plenty of space. Mahalo Michael!

Perfect

Absolutely amazing condo on Maui! The views from the lanai- spectacular! The whales were active all day every day and even saw some sea turtles swimming by. Plenty of room for our family and a very well equipped kitchen. Cooking breakfast each morning was a pleasure because the cookware was actually in excellent condition (very rare for rentals) Would highly recommend!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The very best View in Maui

The most spectacular view in all of Maui. Condo is very good but could use some updating (living room furniture). Refrigerator door swings the wrong way(very easy to fix).

Fantastic view and location!

This condo was amazing! The view from the wraparound lanai is jaw dropping. We saw great sunsets and turtles on the beach, and you can hear the peaceful sound of the waves since you’re right on the beach. Plus, the condo is so spacious we had room to spread out. With a trip to Costco it had everything we needed to make some meals there. I wasn’t familiar with the location but we were so glad we chose Kahana. Not as isolated as and more walkable than Wailea, and close enough to everything without being crowded. Beautiful homes all around particularly to the north. Check in was a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Great place !

We stayed here with our three teen boys and we all had a fantastic time. Mike provided great advice and instructions. The condo was well equipped and had beautiful views - morning coffee on the balcony watching the sea turtles was relaxing. We could access the beach from a small walkway beside the pool. We stopped at Costco on the way down - the Royal Kahana has 5 large bbqs out back and we used them ! The Beach House, Dollie’s Pub (pizza) and China Boat are all great places within walking distance to eat. Hot complimentary coffee was served downstairs every morning. All staff were very pleasant. The condo has snorkel gear and beach chairs and towels, and after time at the beach, we were in the pool before heading back up to our room. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful condo !

Perfect Place

This place was perfect for our family of 5! It was plenty spacious for my husband and myself and our 17,16 and 15 year old. We began every morning sitting on the Lanai watching the whales breach in the distance and the sea turtles play below. The condo was stocked with everything we needed - both for the outdoors and inside. Most places where we have stayed before are very stingy on items in the house (ie: paper towels, shampoo, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. but Mike was very generous with everything left in their place. They had snorkel gear for all sizes, beach chairs, boogie boards. coolers, sand toys, etc. The location was perfect - close to all the good beaches and snorkeling spots, but not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Mike was super easy to work with and very accommodating. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be booking again in the future!

Not what it could be

The property is in an excellent location with a beautiful view. The condo could use a good deep cleaning. We had issue with the TV and internet from the beginning and failed to get a response from the property manager after 4 telephone a calls/text. My emails to the owner (Mike) resulted in his doubting that his manager was not responsive. When I asked him to contact the WiFi provider he was not responsive We missed the final of the Australian Open.

Good place to get away from the Oregon rain

We are two sisters and our husbands. One couple used to own a time share in Maui, and for the other couple Maui was a first time experience. The location of this condo was excellent. The condo itself was comfortable and clean. Lack of floor lamps and adequate bedside or bedroom lighting was our main complaint. The secondary bedroom was impossible for reading in bed. The primary bedroom needs a hair dryer. One couple used the gym and found it a bit grungy and sticky feeling— the equipment should probably be washed more frequently. The pool was very nice. Front desk and concierge and other staff were all friendly and helpful. The wrap around lanai is fantastic. We were surprised that the kitchen didn’t have more basic staples like flour and sugar. We loved the closet full of beach toys and that rates 5*** Even though you emailed info to the person who booked, we recommend that you have a brightly colored 3 ring binder with large font printouts explaining check in and check out procedures, where to find the beach gear, etc. This is especially helpful for older guests like us that don’t necessarily feel adept at electronic communications. The view was breathtaking -- we intended to go out exploring more -- but we couldn't get enough of the balcony. The rental was well stocked and had lots of beach towels and gear. The air conditioning couldn't quite keep up with the afternoon sun in the main area but the bedrooms were nice and cool. Beds were comfortable and Mike was available for all our questions. Great stay!!

As soon as we walked in and saw the incredible ocean view, I knew we were in the right place! I actually felt like I could stay here and never leave, with the ocean view, the gorgeous sunsets, and the soft sounds of the waves - and there’s so much to do in Maui! The property manager, Jennifer, responded quickly to our questions the first day we were there, and never needed to contact her again. The A/C worked perfectly, as did the stove, dishwasher, etc. The property owner, Michael, was very responsive when we had questions in the weeks prior to arriving. The Royal Kahana pool, for all guests, is large and beautiful - it was never crowded (but we were there in Sept., after the school year began). This is the first condo in which we’ve stayed in Hawaii to which we’d definitely return - and we’ve stayed in many nice condos over the decades in Kauai, Maui, Oahu, & Big Island.

What a wonderful experience in this condo. Stunning view and nice large living areas. I will be back! More communication needed between property manager and owner. In our experience we arrived and our unit had not been cleaned and PM was unaware we were arriving. We arrived at 8pm. Kudos to the owner Mike because as soon as I contacted him he had the issue of cleaning taken care of immediately. Once that was done the rest of our stay was amazing

great condo on the water with the waves sending you to sleep every night. Unit was a great one with wrap around lani so you have a view of the ocean and the pool. High enough to watch the turtles every day in the water and see a few whales and dolphins. Thanks for a great stay

Aloha!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in this awesome condo. The views of the ocean were magnificent. We cancelled a couple of activities so we could just relax and enjoy our peaceful condo. If you visit Maui we highly recommend visiting the Pineapple Farm (near the airport). The complimentary pineapples were the best and juciest pineapple we've ever eaten!!! Mahalo ... Michael!!!

25th anniversary

Outstanding views from wrap around lanai. Unit was relatively clean but could use a deep cleaning. Location was the tops and easy to get to beaches and restaurants. Owner provided small amenities and previous renters left shampoos and sunscreens. We loved our stay and would recommend this unit.
