Pontoon available, owner owns Lake Lure Boat Rental, Reserve Pontoon in advance, limited supply, mention home for reduced rates. Master Bedroom-King bed, walk in shower, 2 full closets, smartTV, electric fireplace. Large guest bedroom-Queen & Twin bed, full closet, smartTV. Kitchen-Modern, all essentials. Grand Living Room-Sleeper sofa, 2nd couch, game table. Office/play room. Porch-picnic table, 2 glide rockers, gas grill. Parking-2 spots. The deck...my oh my, the view to Chimey Rock is incredible! Other than a few small things that could be better, I was glad I rented this property near the downtown areas of both Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. My dog really enjoyed all the new smells and the lake water.

The home was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is situated perfectly between Chimney Rock and Lake Lure to be able to enjoy both towns. The area has worked hard to recover and it was great to be able to contribute as a tourist to the local economy. We can’t wait to come back!

The place was perfect the king size bed was the best Only thing I would change is, more towels and wash cloths, place small trash bags under the can in the bathroom I know there is a washer n dryer there but when on vacation you don't want to have to do laundry every day. Only one wash cloth in both bathrooms. There were four of us!

Oh no Denessa, so sorry you didn’t find the was cloth allocation appropriate. We stack a white and a black wash (that has the words make-up on them) cloth on top of each towel for each guest..so 2 per person for a total of 8. There are also about 15 extra stacked in the drawer of the master bathroom. Of how I wish you had sent a text message to us asking for more, we would have been able to help you find them…and we live only 2 miles down the street and would have brought you 100 if need and if we had known. While we regret and feel so awful that this ruined your stay in our paradise, we would have loved the opportunity to help. I am also disappointed with a 3 star rating for wash cloths. Oh well, we will be sure to urge future guests to communicate and reach out for anything they may need. We could have given you the code to get anything you needed from the owner’s closet as well. Goodness, if we had only known. Our best to you and yours and hopefully you were able to stay clean enough to enjoy your time and have fun.

Loved the deck and location. It was so nice to sit out and see Chimney Rock and all the progress they are making on returning this beautiful area to its pre-hurricane status. I will have to say one of my favorite things about this house was the wooden floors. They were absolutely stunning. Communication with the host was quick and informational.
