Thank you for your review, Alison! We're glad you appreciated the simplicity of the tiny house and enjoyed the lovely river view. It’s great to hear you found the location convenient to downtown Sylva. We hope to welcome you back for another stay soon! 😊🏡
This was our first stay in a tiny home and it was lovingly appointed! The decor and finishing touches were great, and we especially appreciated the fresh coffee beans/grinder and area guide. Owners were super responsive as well! Would stay again!
Turns out the "Kitchen" is more of a kitchenette! My son and I like to cook, so being that it is a tiny home, we opted for steak and a side of preassembled twice baked potatoes. For dessert we picked up Toffee Klondike bars(6pack), knowing that we would see family the next day and pass the rest on. When we arrived, we modified our meal plan to microwave the second baking of potatoes as twice baked mash potatoes, the steak was great using the induction setup, BUT there was no freezer for the Klondike Bars. When a "Kitchen" was advertised, we assumed a freezer had to be included and maybe a toaster oven or air fryer. Dinner plans got reversed as we got right into eating 6 Klondike bars between the 2 of us before they melted!

Thank you for your feedback, Thomas. I appreciate your insights regarding the kitchenette setup. We aim to clearly describe our amenities, but I understand how the absence of a freezer may have affected your meal plans. It's great to hear that you still enjoyed cooking the steak with the induction setup, and I can certainly see how improvising with the Klondike bars became quite the adventure. Your comments help us improve the experience for future guests, and I’ll consider highlighting the kitchenette features more clearly. Thank you for sharing!
