Please note the property is in a country setting. Please expect bugs outside. It stays windy debris may blow into the pool. There is a pool net for guest to use.

Please note the upstairs shower turns on from the faucet it pulls.

Please make sure all trash is placed in trash bags and not loose.

Pool is seasonal (April-September). Pool is not fenced. Pool is accessible from yard or from walking out of the back door. Supervise children. No running. No diving. No glass containers. No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

We have been to this place twice and both times the lawn was not mowed. Our family lives around this location and we have needed this location for family events. The house needs maintenance and a deep cleaning. Banisters on stairs are loose and dead flowers in glass need to be thrown out. We don’t want to go to BandB to work! This place could be very nice with some extra care.

Wedding

The home is beautiful, and very close to the wedding venue which made it very convenient to keep the family together. We enjoyed our stay very much.There were a few things that should possibly be addressed, mostly for safety's sake - for example, wasps inside and outside the house, loose stair banister on the front porch and inside stairs, update to bedding, sheets didn't fit one bed and stains on another, shower curtains in 2 bathrooms, kitchen cabinets that didn't stay closed.

The property has so much potential, however, in its current state I can’t recommend. We did like the location and communication with host. The house itself just isn’t a good experience. The living room furniture is old and uncomfortable. Seating for six only at dining room table - why when the house sleeps 15? Not enough plates and silverware. Doors that don’t close including one of the oven doors (we had to tape shut to use), other maintenance issues. Oddly, no top sheets on some of the beds, ugh. No extra blankets to be found. No bath mats. One of the worst offenses for a family is an open well in the front yard. Very dangerous. If the owners would invest in new furniture, accessories and some maintenance, it would be a great house for a big family.

Pesky Pests & Other Stuff

There were a lot of dead wasps when we arrived. We found that there were a few wasp nests outside which had obviously been there for a long time. I wish the property manager had taken better care to rid the property of wasps. When my grandson was bitten, it was not good. There were also a number of pieces of furniture in not good shape. There was a bar which had nails sticking out of it. That was hazardous, especially with young children.
