People ask if we put something in the water to make it that emerald green. The Blanco River has a limestone bottom and that's why you have this beautiful color. Come use our kayaks, paddleboard, tubes and other river toys. Grill a juicy steak on the grilling porch and sit in the hot tub. Visit a nearby winery, shop in our charming downtown square. Go see the olive growers and go zip lining. Five miles to Market Days, which is the first Saturday of every month. Three and a half miles to the downtown square. We have 300' of waterfront on the Blanco River with a ladder for getting in and out of the river. This home has been elevated above the new proposed flood plain for Wimberley. Hardwood floors, fully equipped kitchen, soft water and filtering system for drinking. Nice linens. Full size washer and dryer. TVs. Wifi. Come relax. It doesn't get much better than this!
This house sleeps eight comfortably. There are four queen size beds in four separate bedrooms.
We book month-long stays for a really reasonable price December, January, February. After that, it's all short-term-rentals. We love helping guests, so please ask us.
We do allow one night bookings Sunday-thru Thursday night but we do not allow them on Friday or Saturday nights.
Voices carry on the river, so everyone must come into the house at 10:30 p.m. to continue the party. :)
We welcome sweet dogs and are proud to announce no pet fees! If you have a heavy shedding dog, we reserve the right to ask you to pay our housekeepers $35 for the extra time it takes to remove the hair. Pets must be kept off the furniture and out of our beautiful beds. All pets must be on a leash when outside, and the dog gate kept up to keep them off the carpet in the loft.
THIS HOME IS NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. NO DIVING IN THE RIVER, PLEASE!
Thank you for your consideration. It's a privilege to host you.
