The best

Amazing house. Better than pictures. Right on the beach. Perfect spot in town, but feels like your own paradise. Security and on-site help were fantastic. Will definitely go here again!

Best Beach House in Santa Teresa

We’ve been renting in Santa Teresa for several years and this house blew us away. Location is beachfront perfection - private, safe, and a 2 min walk to yoga, grocery stores, and our fave restaurants. The marble and teak are gorgeous and rooms designed well for families. A light was flickering the first night and management took care of it right away. Our son spent the entire trip exploring the private paths and beach out front, swimming in the huge pool, and practicing Spanish with the sweet housekeeper! This is a truly special place.

Just ... incredible.

Our stay at this stylish, modern luxury villa was way too short, but the time we did have was pretty amazing. First off, the house: it looks like it was built yesterday, and it’s got to be owned by an architect or something. Everything is sparkling and obviously new and very obviously top shelf. The design is kind of Brazil-modern meets Eames - very open and airy, such that the whole front of the main part of the house is glass doors that slide away to open to the pool and the beach. The pool is giant – bigger than it looks in the pictures – and the whole main area is just one big open cooking-eating-drinking-lounging space. No corporate ‘décor’, no plastic anything, just very tasteful, solid furnishings and appointments. This thing should be in a magazine.The bedrooms are in smaller structures flanking the main house, which is good for privacy but not great for running to the kitchen in the rain. (We didn’t have kids along this trip, but we will next year and having them occupying their own soundproof rooms will be ideal)The staff is great. Someone was around to look after the place just about all of the time, which sounds intrusive but actually wasn’t an issue at all. I’m guessing they’re trained to stay in the background, they were very helpful and having the house cleaned daily was really nice.The commercial part of Santa Teresa is right outside the gate at the end of the driveway – you can literally walk to breakfast, lunch, dinner, surf shops, groceries, etc.
