Great location, wonderful property, fantastic owners!

The owners were very communicative. The location is absolutely perfect! It is right near Bellevue Avenue and within walking distance of Thames Street. The house had everything you'd need and there is a CVS and a grocery store within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

The house was great, looks just like the listing, and was around everything you could possibly need! The host was amazing too, gave great recommendations for food and sights to see and was available if I needed anything. If I’m in the area, I would definitely book with him again!

Fabulous location in Newport for walking to everything.

We all loved the house and location. we used our car very little and walked everywhere. Small quirks with an older home but the owner was outstanding to work with. We spent the month of July and enjoyed Newports activities and restaurants.

Long Weekend in Newport

My wife and I along with one other couple rented this property for a 3 night stretch and would definitely consider renting it again next time we are in Newport. The house was spacious, clean, and central to all Newport attractions. It was nice being within walking distance to everything, but at the same time, we also enjoyed using the patio at the house each day. Wallace was also very on top of things whether it be providing information or just checking in to see how our stay was going. Overall, would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a weekend away in Newport.

Great Spot in Newport

This house is in the perfect location for those visiting Newport. It's a couple blocks from the main action on Thames and also walking distance to the beach and the Cliff Walk. It's very close to CVS and the supermarket along with other stores, shops and restaurants. Although there are 2 supplied parking passes, if you have additional cars it can be tricky to find street parking for free although the homeowners were helpful letting us know which streets we can park. I'd say the only other somewhat negative is that this is a very quiet street and they take the Newport Noise Ordinance very seriously. If you are traveling with a group I would take this into account as the ordinance starts at 9:30pm! Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back!

We stayed for 2.5 weeks in October. House is in great location for walking most everywhere you want to go, and close driving to everywhere else! Coffee shop across the way, tons of food and groceries, beach and cliff walk. Owners are helpful and quick to respond to issues that arise. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is close to the Bellevue mansions, the wharf, restaurants, and the cliff walk. There is a parking lot so we didn't have to worry about finding a spot. I think the owner is very nice and communicative.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home, great location

Where to begin? We loved so many things about our stay in Katie's beautiful Newport home. Our group was in town for the Folk Festival and the location was perfect — walking distance to great coffee shops, the wharf, shopping, restaurants and more! The outdoor space in the back was a lovely place to unwind after a full day at the festival and also a convenient spot to store our bike rentals. The kitchen was especially comfortable with ample seating, a Bluetooth speaker and was stocked with basics, such as coffee, sugar, etc. There was plenty of space for our group of 8 and no one felt on top of one another. The 2 parking spots were very convenient and suited our needs perfectly. Finally, communication with the owners, Katie and Wallace, was great. They were readily available by text, sent along great recommendations for dining and activities in the area prior to our arrival and even checked in to see how we were enjoying our stay. What can I say? We loved it there! We absolutely plan to stay again and would highly recommend.

The Best of Newport

If you're looking for a home to rent in Newport - this is it! This is your home away from home. We rented the house for graduation weekend in May, a girl's weekend in June, and we're coming back next year for my son's wedding. The house is in a classy, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to everything - unique shops, restaurants, and endless activities galore! The house is clean, spacious, and has all the amenities. The back patio basks in the afternoon sun - perfect to unwind with that relaxing cocktail! The infamous Cliff Walk is less than a mile away and the house is central enough to bike around the whole island. Katie, the owner, is your "hostess with the mostest". She is extremely pleasant, very accommodating, and easy to work with. This house is top notch! Give it a try - you'll be glad you did!

Family wedding in Narragansett. Thought it would be nice to have our children, whom we don't have all together very often, away from the fray. This house was perfect in all things...location, size, plenty of room for 6 adults, a 2 year old and a chocolate lab, great couches on which to sprawl and so much to do and see in walking distance. Cute Charming House, Location, Great Owners!

We had a very nice stay at this property for our annual girls weekend trip!  This is a great place to rent if you are looking to stay in Newport!! The owners were very responsive with all of our requests. The house is so very charming and clean with plenty of space for 8 ladies. The owners are kind enough to let whomever is renting to use their resident only parking pass on the street as well as a parking pass for the gated parking lot across the street. The house it located right next to Bellevue Ave where there is also meter parking. A grocery store, cvs pharmacy, whole food general store are located walking distance from the house. Downtown Thames Street (shopping, restaurants, waterfront restaurants) is also walking distance!  The house comes equipped with washer, dryer, full kitchen and utensils, sheets for the beds, AC units in ALL rooms, Wifi, Bluetooth docking station, a very quaint back patio that we were able to use to enjoy evening beverages and appetizers.  I highly recommend renting this property for your next visit to Newport. Between the communication with the owners and the location of the property, I will be renting again when we have our next girls trip or family trip!  Thank you for your hospitality, Katie!

Perfect location - lovely, high end Newport rental

From start to finish a wonderful experience. The house is fantastic and in premiere location to enjoy all that newport offers. The two parking spaces (one off street and gated) is an added bonus. The owner communicates all you need to know in a timely manner. I would 100% rent this home again and recommend to others!!

Great House in Newport!

I stayed here with a group of 8 girls and the house was perfect. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us, and the house was a short walk to Thames for restaurants and entertainment. Charm and a great location

Classic Newport home with very nice up to date and open kitchen, plus large bathrooms. A huge plus in Newport is parking, and this home has its own spot. An easy walk to all main areas of town with several very good restaurants very close by.

Best location

We are a family of five adults and needed space and privacy. This property offers that as well as offering the options of walking to everything you need. Clean, well-appointed and just as pictured. Having vacationed in Rhode Island many times this was my first time staying in the heart of Newport and we were able to walk to one of our favorite restaurants, Sardella's. My daughters and I took advantage of the Christmas tour at "The Breakers", which is well worth a visit. You can walk down to Thames Street and there is a great coffee shop around the corner on Bellevue Avenue that opens at six a.m. For early risers. Definitely would recommend this property.

Excellent house near downtown

House was exactly what we needed. Very clean and plenty of space. We had a group of 8 guys and were comfortable the whole time. Enough bed space for 6 people and then a couple couches. Katie was always helpful and very easy to deal with. Only downside is lack of parking. House comes with one dedicated spot across the street and a street parking pass on a pretty crowded street. Other cars had to find non-resident street parking which can be a little bit of a walk.

Clean, cozy home close to all

We had a wonderful weekend visiting our daughter who is studying at Salve Regina University in Newport! Although we had to endure a day of rain while we were there, we were fortunate to be staying in this lovely home that was clean, well maintained, comfy and close to everything! The owner responded quickly to questions and provided thorough details which made our stay stress-free. I would recommend this property to friends or relatives.

Amazing location, very responsive owners, great stay overall.

The location is right in the heart of Newport - and the back porch (and outdoor shower!) are right next to Memorial. Still - private location and beautiful home with everything you need inside whether you're with family or with friends. We had just finished a 100-mile bike ride from Boston and this place was exactly what we needed to unwind and enjoy what Newport has to offer. Big thanks to Katie and her husband or having us.
