The kitchen and bathrooms have granite surfaces, four poster super king size bed and jacuzzi in the master suite. Air condition in bedrooms 2 master suites one with dressing room and bathroom with jacuzzi separate walk in shower double sinks rain shower heads wet rooms in the other bathrooms. Hand crafted kitchen, new stainless steel appliances microwave, american fridge freezer with gas cooker, granite work tops, breakfast bar seating for 6 looking over the pool, ceiling fans in every room. Air conditioned bedrooms with sea views Large wrap around terrace with infinity pool and ocean view.

The villa is close to horse riding, local shops short drive to oistins and Miami beach looks on to long beach other beaches close by. Ideal for couples, ideal for a laid back relaxing break but close to all the action.

The villa is my home and very well maintained and recently upgraded with new furniture and soft furnishings the property is rented for holiday accommodation only and not parties or functions

I do have a apartment downstairs completely separate from the villa the pool is for the clients only the apartment is used by myself different times of the year when there on business or any maintenance is needed

Family trip to Barbados

This was our first trip to Barbados and we loved it. Margaret’s house was a great base to explore the island from. We loved having the pool for morning and evening dips and days when we felt like hanging around. The location was quiet and lovely with panoramic views over the neighborhood to the ocean. Margaret was super helpful as we planned our trip and went above and beyond to help us with a rental car and New Years Eve planning.

Veey spacious and lovely villa in peaceful location.

Set up high above the Oistins area is the really lovely villa, equipped with everything you need including huge comfy beds,large bathrooms and a super infinity pool with wrap around terrace for sunbathing, dining or just wstching the monkeys & humming birds.

Thanksgiving in Barbados

We've visited Barbados many times, and this is one of the very best trips I can remember. This villa is 10 out of 10 across the board! We were three friends and all had our own room and en suite. All the furnishings are lovely and everything works (lights, fans, AC units, kitchen appliances, deck chairs and loungers, TVs, pool is brilliant, etc...) Mags is an awesome host. The only hiccup we had was a clogged shower drain, which was sorted within an hour and did not reoccur. The location is perfect in our opinion with access to the whole South Coast and easy connection to the highway if you want to venture up the West coast or East for the day. Villa is perched on a ridge with a lovely sea view, a nice breeze all day, and is located in a cul-du-sac so no through traffic. Closer to the airport than I thought it would be- but we had no noise from planes at all. One of the best value for money places I've seen in over 12 visits to the island!

Our Favourite Island Property

We have had the fortunate opportunity to travel the world and have stayed in some amazing homes. This one is our favourite and we are always excited to return to it. For us, the location is perfect. It is in a residential neighbourhood, so away from tourists. It in a spectacular location overlooking Oistins and the sea. The owner has truly thought of every way possible to make your stay comfortable....from super comfy chairs in the front (with a beautiful jungle feel!), to thick comfortable loungers by the infinity pool in the back. The added bonus are the flowers, the monkeys, the birds, the butterflies, the green parrots (this year!), the horses in the field below and in the past the goats! HIGHLY recommend this property. The owner is also super great to work with. Lovely woman.

Beautiful, well-appointed property

Our favourite place, without question, to stay in Barbados. My husband has been coming to Barbados for 35 years (I have been coming with him for the past 7) and we both agree this house is our favourite. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We will be returning as often as we can! We both believe, you ideally should have a car to get around though (get groceries, restaurants, etc), but it is a spectacular home.

Lovely Stay

The location of the villa is not as listed on Vrbo. It is close to the airport so you require a car to visit Oistins and the rest of the island. Oistins is an hour walk not 11 minutes as stated in the listing. Miami Beach and The Parish Church are also a lengthy walk from the Villa. We had a car, but it would have been nice not to have to drive into Oistins for the fish fry as location was a factor in our choice of the villa. This aside, the villa met all our expectations, was well equipped and had a lovely pool area with an amazing outlook. A great base for exploring the island. The owner responded quickly to all our questions and had many recommendations of what to do during our stay.

Lovely property, well maintained and very welcoming owner. The property is not close to too many activities or restaurants etc so a car is essential but great if you want to get away from the crowds. Would thoroughly recommend if you enjoy seclusion and self sufficiency.

Great pool, fabulous view, constant cooling breeze

The villa was as presented in the pictures and well maintained. Margaret was friendly and helpful, and responded quickly to questions. She also made excellent suggestions for activities and places to eat. We all had a wonderful time. Bring your Firestick, Roku, or Apple TV for the 2nd TV. Highly recommended.

Magnificent property!!!

This is by far the most amazing VRBO I have ever stayed at!!! Super clean and just exactly as it was listed! The location was absolutely perfect - in a nice quiet neighborhood not around all the hustle and bustle. The pool was stunning as it looks out over the southern part out to the ocean. I just can’t say enough good about this property and Margaret! If you are visiting Barbados - you will not be disappointed staying here! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! Thank you so much Margaret!!!

Fantastic!

Great spot, and Magz was a great host! Really nice upscale Villa with a great pool and absolutely fantastic views - exactly as shown in the pics. Everything on the southwest side is within 20 minutes - only reason location isn't a perfect 5 is that you'll need a rental car or cabs to get around (but same is true everywhere unless you book in at a resort and stay put) - host can help you with both taxis or rental car as well. We would definitely book here again if we come back - can't say enough good things about our stay!

Warm Breezes

Overall I would have to give this property a thumbs up for its quiet and serene location, high up, overlooking Oistins, with a view of the sea. The pool is well maintained and lovely to use while a steady warm trade wind blows across the ridge making it very comfortable. The house is more than adequate although the appliances are tired and well used. The hob or stove will get you by but thanks to the bbq we managed very well. No lack of space in the bedrooms and although we had a few glitches, Margaret was quick to get things done. You definitely need a car to get around as nothing is very close unless you love to walk distances on sketchy roads. That being said it’s a very short drive to Oistins…about 15 minutes. Sleeping was very different from our closed up winter homes to open air doors and windows listening to roosters, barking dogs, monkeys and occasional rains. Sadly we had to use the AC after a few nights as we were stuck in our ways of quiet solitude. No reflection on the house on that note as each bedroom has AC.

Safety Issues

My husband and another 2-couple reserved for our anniversary. The other couples could not come but we did. The host offered pick up and transportation for an additional fee however we quickly realized that the person Andrew is the host boyfriend. This became an issue due to the location requiring a car for all things and we asked about a weekly rate to use his services. He declined and wanted a pay per travel rate which we discovered was at an increase. Air conditioning only in the bedrooms can only be used as per the host at night when sleeping or we would be charged additional fees due to the cost she has to pay and that didn’t work well. I advised without complaint that we were checking out early 48 hrs. into our stay and my husband needed to give $60 to her boyfriend (driver) and could give it to her when she came to get the house keys. Boyfriend Andrew knocks and demands his money cursing at my husband and threatens to give him his money now. He was irate, threatening and hostile. I began looking for the # to call the police being from the US it’s a different #. The host comes and denies calling him. The host open’s the front door all the way with her boyfriend stating that I did a charge off for payment. At this point we felt trapped and unsafe. The new taxi driver arrived and was hostile due to being friends of the boyfriend. Not safe to do business with them.

Wonderful

Perfect as pictures . Location with views over to the sea was so peaceful and relaxing loved sitting out on the front verianda at night with the palm trees blowing and tropical sounds . Location perfect away from hustle n bustle but a short car journey as 10min away when you wont to join in with the locals and tourist. Do visit local rum bars we had best time with locals. Margaret is a mind of information and happy to help and Andrew is a star with taxi runs and tours with local spots you may not find . You will not be disappointed with either location accommodation host locals or Barbados as a destination . Thank you all for a fab and memorable time jane

Stunning views, amazing host!

This property more than exceeded all our expectations! It is well maintained, has stunning views, is conveniently located and Margaret went above and beyond to make our stay carefree! Margaret helped with grocery pickup for our arrival, made restaurant reservations, provided us with a suggested itinerary of activities for the week, and immediately responded to all our questions throughout the week. A short visit to paradise

Margaret has a lovely spacious, airy and beautifully furnished property which met all our expectations. Our days commenced with an early morning pre-breakfast swim in the pool, rain or shine! The property is perfectly orientated with view over the plains to the sea from the pool and its high position on the ridge takes advantage of the prevailing sea breezes. Perfect for lounging by the pool. It stylishly furnished with an interior designers eye and fitted with all the mod-cons, galore. Regarding advice for local entertainment, dining venues and events, Margaret is a font of all knowledge and definitely has a finger on the pulse. Her friendly and personal touch really has made a difference. We are regular visitors to the island but have certainly learnt a lot during our stay. We will be back!! …S

A Wonderful Stay

We had an excellent experience staying at this villa. This was our first trip to Barbados (and first time using vrbo). We chose the villa based on the number of positive reviews about the property and the host Margaret as well. We had no regrets. The property was very spacious and comfortable. We had 6 people including 2 kids and 2 seniors. The bedrooms were a great size and the living room was a large common area all as the photos show. The patio was a wonderful place to relax for morning breakfast, or evening dinner, or lounging around the pool. Margaret was an excellent host who answered questions and provided assistance and advice as needed. She even helped with some arrangements during our stay like a larger taxi from the airport. We decided to rent a car for our stay which made getting around easy especially with 2 seniors. The closest beach is about a 7 minute drive (Miami/Enterprise). I had never driven on the left side of the road and did not find it as difficult as I thought it would be. Most of the roads are two lane and it's mostly between 40 to 60 km. It's helpful to get around to the various tourist attractions most of which are between 10 to 30 minutes away and we would encourage you to visit them. The location of the villa is in a quieter neighborhood which is a little less tourist dense away from hotels. It's about a 7 minute drive to the Oistins Fish Market which has a fish fry on Friday nights. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. PS: there is a guestbook with over 10 years of entries which had useful suggestions and advice (i.e. visit the animal reserve during feeding time for the green monkeys).
