This house was perfect for our family of seven. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfasts and lunches in. The nautical decor is tasteful and fun. An easy walk to shopping, restaurants, night life. We especially enjoyed renting a pontoon boat and cruising the St. Lawrence. Alex Bay’s season was winding down-we liked the smaller crowds.

Upon arrival we were met by the homeowner in person to explain a few things and she was available throughout our stay for anything we needed. The house was just as described and very clean & cozy yet had enough room to spread out. The beds were comfortable, which is always a plus when renting so I always try to comment on the beds for others! We had a truly enjoyable time celebrating the nations 250th birthday here & watching the fireworks right fromThe back yard!

Simply Great!

Great hosts and location make this place. Excellent communication and easy check in from the start made us feel welcome. The house was built in 1863 but has been updated for all the modern amenities. Very clean and comfortable. The outdoor deck and fire pit area offer a great view of the bay and Boldt castle. Docks are well kept and protected from wind and traffic, easy in and out.
