Had a blast at the speakeasy! The location was pleasant, all of the amenities were nice as well. The projection in the living wasn’t the best, but it didn’t diminish my fiancé and my experience! Would totally stay again!

A great apartment with really nice ambiance. Our host Rodney was easy to communicate with and offered some nice alternative activities since the traditional tourist attractions were almost all closed due to the government shutdown. We chose to Uber into town most days, but it is walkable. Parking was on the street but felt safe and secure.

Two adults and one teenager stayed here from April 6th-8th. Upon check-in, you receive the code for the electronic lock; finding free parking is also easy (the host secures a virtual visitor parking permit in advance). Stepping inside, you are greeted by a pleasant scent, the lighting throughout the space is dimmable, and there are arious tourist brochures are conveniently placed near the entrance. The kitchen features modern amenities, including a large refrigerator, dishwasher etc,. And is well-stocked with a wide variety of cookware, untesial, and spices for guests' use. Every corner of the room reflects the host's unique flair for interior design—even featuring classic vinyl records—creating a truly relaxing living atmosphere. The faucets provide a steady flow of water with ample hot and cold supply, and the water pressure is excellent. The host is patient and providing detailed answers to any questions guests may have; the room dimensions and bed sizes are just right, and each bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe, a computer desk, and a chair. All in all, the environment is neat, clean and safe.

Tiny Blue House Was So Much Fun!

Our family loved staying at Bloomingdale Blues Speakeasy or as our Babes called it The Tiny Blue House! Rodney was so kind and very helpful with all my questions. Cozy Home in Washington

The Speakeasy was a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment on the bottom floor of a townhome. The kitchen was fully stocked (even with spices, coffee and sweeteners) and there was a laundry room with soap. The beds (full and queen) were comfortable with two pillows per spot and light weight comforter’s. The place was clean and the host was very easy to communicate with. We loved our stay in Washington DC and especially how close the Speakeasy was to everything. Most share rides were around 8 from doorstep to tourist attraction. Definitely stay at the Speakeasy!
