It was perfect. Our adult family are gamers, so we played pong, darts, trivia and relaxed in the hot tub. Location was great, we love Ventura. We will make this our "go to" when we return to visit.

A very nice house to stay in while we spent a few days in Ventura. We enjoyed the interior design aspects of the home and had fun playing darts and ping pong in the garage. Easy walk to town and the ocean / pier.

This was my second stay at the home this year-that's how much I enjoyed it. I was in town for a 50th year H/S reunion, and had family come and visit me as well. The home is warm, comfortable, and spacious, all my family members loved it as much as I did.

We had such a wonderful stay here! We loved this house and all of the amenities. We took advantage of the hot tub, grand piano, BBQ, ping pong table, dart board, and bikes. There was plenty of space for our family of 6 to spread out. We enjoyed both the inside and outside space. Location was good for both downtown and the beach. The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to have a table that accommodated us all. We are totally hoping that we can stay here again next summer. It's our 4th stay in Ventura and our favorite overall.

Historical home exquisitely renovated by an artistic couple. Every aspect of the property was perfectly designed. It was a soulful and relaxing environment close to Trader Joe's, In & Out, Lure and Lure. Short drive to Ojai and half hour to Santa Barbara.

Very nice house. Mediterranean charm, very clean, roomy, garage with ping pong table and dart board. Comfortable beds. Walk to downtown restaurants & shops, and walk to beach. Excellent neighborhood market across the street with freah baked bread and awesome wine selection.

Fun, creative, versatile, convenient

Really fun cool place with big table for eating or games, lots of comfortable nooks to hang out. Hot tub is great for a warm up after a surf or just relaxing (a bit small for more than one person). Access to garage with ping pong and darts is great plus. Delightfully decorated and designed with rock and roll and seaside themes. Great beds, comfortable and pretty quiet. Very clean and nothing funky or weird. Would definitely stay there again

It couldn't have gone better. The house is located right on Main Street and was the perfect size for my wife, my daughter and myself. Very clean. Lots of cool, little touches. The owner was very responsive and you can tell that this place is professionally run. The process was very smooth and my family was very happy/impressed. We will be back for sure!

Perfect little house for our girlfriends’ weekend!

We loved our weekend at Sunny Days! The location was ideal—easy access to Main Street with great bars and restaurants, a quick drive to the beach and Ventura Pier, and close enough to the train station for a fun day trip to Santa Barbara. The two-bedroom house had plenty of space for our group of five, with extra futon options that made it very comfortable. We spent lots of time relaxing in the hot tub and catching up—such a perfect spot for reconnecting. We wanted to use the game room in the detached garage but ran out of time. Everything was convenient, cozy, and just what we needed for a memorable getaway. Highly recommend! Thank you!

We had a fantastic family getaway here. This home was an absolute pleasure for our stay. Communication with the hosts was excellent and timely, from the very first message through checkout. We loved the ambiance, the beautiful gardens, and the classic terra cotta tiles throughout.The kids couldn’t get enough of the table tennis table in the garage. The girls had their own room and adored both the space and their comfy bed. In fact, all the beds were roomy and very comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless and well-stocked with towels and essentials, as was the entire house.The living areas were inviting and perfect for gathering, whether for music, puzzles, or just relaxing together. The piano in the main living area was nicely tuned and saw plenty of use during our stay. Even the guitar, which might have just been decorative, came to life after I replaced a string.The kitchen was well-equipped, with two microwaves, a great gas range, and a spacious fridge. The washer and dryer are tucked behind louvered doors in the kitchen, which kept any noise to a minimum.Outside, we enjoyed several cozy sitting areas surrounded by lush gardens full of succulents, agave plants, birds of paradise, and that unmistakable California vibe.All in all, the house offered great spaces, wonderfully comfortable beds, a charming 1930s-style feel, and all the modern conveniences (and then some). Highly recommended. We’d happily stay here again!
