Right on Long Sands Beach!

You will never regret renting this lovely one bedroom apartment right on Long Sands Beach. Built in 2012, everything is still brand new! The deck, with it's unobstructed bold ocean front views will amaze you! Sit there and watch the sunrise over the Atlantic, walk across the street for fun in the sun all day, and then enjoy a glass of wine on the deck as you watch the sunset. This is such a wonderful setting to simply relax and enjoy all Maine has to offer. The unit features central air, cheerful kitchen and tons of windows to view the ocean. The glass enclosed deck allows you to sit and watch the waves splashing and the people strolling on the beach. The unit has one bedroom with a queen bed and a fold down futon in the living room. New kitchen and new bath means you do not have to worry about coming in to a rental only to find it is not updated and not clean. This unit is delightful! The house is conveniently located steps away from Long Sands General Store. Locally owned and operated, this is the gathering spot for your morning coffee, a great take out lunch or any last minute items you need for a picnic at the beach. Just a few more steps down the beach, enjoy a summer cocktail, light lunch or very nice dinner at the Stone's Throw Restaurant. Jump on the trolley or walk to downtown York Beach. There, you will find many more restaurants, bars, shopping, a great playground for the kids and York's Wild Kingdom. This is a zoo and small amusement park. Play mini-golf, ride the Carousel, see the animals and enjoy some cotton candy. There is a spiral staircase to access the apartment. Parking for one small car or small SUV only. Outdoor shower. We require a minimum stay of 7 nights during the summer and unfortunately, we do not accept pets. Finally, there is no smoking on the property, which means the balcony too. We appreciate your cooperation with this.

There is parking for 1 car, behind the house in-front of the spiral staircase. Reminder, the spiral staircase is the only access in and out of the 3rd floor apartment

Beautiful views from a balcony overlooking Long Sands Beach. What more can you ask for? The spiral staircase makes it difficult to bring bags into the apartment but the view makes the trek up there worth it.

Excellent location

Excellent location, amazing view, very clean and comfortable property. The only disadvantage is the 3 flights of circular metal stairs to reach the property and the tight parking space. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Perfect spot

This was the perfect little weekend getaway spot for my wife and I. The property is in a great location and you can’t beat the view. As a lifelong York Beach vacationer, you can’t get much better than this spot!

Wonderful hosts and an amazing view.

My husband and I first stayed at this property in 2015 and it has maintained its immaculate condition in 2025. Tom and Bev are the friendly and gracious owners who live in the lower two floors of this property. They are friendly, kind, and happy to accommodate your requests. The third floor balcony is the best feature of the property. You can have a snack. Read a book, drink a cocktail, eat lunch, while enjoying the beautiful view. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful rental. The advertised third floor outdoor spiral staircase can be a challenge for those with mobility issues, but the advertisement clearly states that it exists. This property contains every essential that you need to enjoy a weeklong stay at York Beach.

This property is in the perfect location! Across the street from the beach, right between Rye and Kennebunkport, and walking distance to all your in town needs. Hosts were wonderful. Just a perfect place to getaway

Great Beach Spot

Property was brand new, clean, and in a perfect location. The spiral stairs can be tough for some, but if you don't mind hiking up them the property is great. Couldn't have been happier with our stay.
