Carmel by the Canyon

Our studio is located in Carmel, less than a mile from the town center. The house faces out over Hatton Canyon and affords a private rural setting yet close to Big Sur, Pebble Beach, Monterey, etc. 15 Minute walk to Carmel downtown. A hub to explore Big Sur and all the Monterey Peninsula has to offer.

Due to certain regulatory changes regarding minimum stay, the dates you are requesting may not be available. While we prefer longer stays, do make an inquiry to us about the dates you want.
The space
Our studio is located along the East canyon side of our mid-century ranch house, to which it is connected to (our laundry room only), but is totally private from our living space with sight and sound separation. It is a L-shaped studio with a vaulted beamed cathedral ceiling, recessed lighting, and distinctive hardwood flooring. The King size bed is slightly recessed into a cherry wood accent wall that Celine designed. The bedding is luxurious and includes a plush down comforter. While the central heating is controlled from our house, the fully insulated studio has an electric heater, if it gets too cool in the evenings.

The bathroom is in the retro 50’s style, yet fully renovated with custom cabinetry and a designer tile floor, restoring the original tub and shower. High speed WiFi access provided as is TV with full Xfinity X1, lots of movies. There is no stove, cooking utensils in the studio, so it's not set up for cooking. Yet we do provide a dining table and stools, large mini-fridge, toaster, kettle, large microwave and dishes. We also provide fresh ground coffee from artisan local roasters and a selection of teas and some light breakfast items.

There is a private patio for guests with table, chairs and bench to relax in and view the canyon. We provide ample off street parking, right to the studio and have two separate entrances completely separated from the main house. We renovated the house with the privacy and comfort of our guests in mind. Please note that this is a not a huge space and the max capacity is for 2 persons.
