Located in Charlestown, Quonnie is a beautiful, quiet southern RI enclave nestled right up against the stunning coastline. You'll have beautiful sunrise walks on an unforgettable New England beach and sunset cocktails at the private dock landing at the saltwater pond. You and your children will walk and bike with the comfort of knowing you're the priority on the small backroads of Quonnie.
Kids can crab and fish at the pond, hit tennis balls at the local courts, kick a ball around the ball field (or play in the casual, Sunday game), play on the playground or just enjoy the beautiful, private beach. Parents this is a little slice of heaven you won't find anywhere else.
Mystic Seaport is a 30 minute drive south, the zoo and Newport a 30 minute drive north and the famous Watch Hill carousel a quick 20 not to mention the numerous fun, local eating spots (including The Ocean House and Matunuck Oyster Bar) sprinkled in everywhere. Unfortunately no pets allowed.

A Thoughtful Stay in a Perfect Spot

We’ve been vacationing in this neighborhood for several years, and this was our first time renting this particular home—and we’re so glad we did. The location is absolutely perfect, and the house itself was spacious, clean, and well-suited for a family of four or more. The vintage decor added a charming, nostalgic touch that made our time here feel slower, more intentional, and more present. Julie, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the whole experience even smoother. We’d happily return!

Just a few extras about our home. We built it in 1960- a charming cape conducive to the surrounding area. We are a 10 minute walk to a private beach, softball field, tennis courts, salt water pond/dock and playground. There are 4 bedrooms, two down (king and two twins) and two up (king and double). The upstairs bedrooms are connected by a narrow hallway and share a full bath. There is a door at the top of the stairs to make the entire second floor space private.
We do ask that you bring your own sheets, towels and beach towels.

We have an outdoor shower which is wonderful on warm, summer nights, a gas grill for your outdoor BBQ, deck and new A/C window units in every bedroom (plus living room) to keep you comfortable.
My family is 5th generation to Quonnie and hold it near and dear to our hearts.
Sadly we do not allow any pets and appreciate your understanding.
