CHARMING WEST END COTTAGE

This adorable freestanding cottage is nestled in the heart of Provincetown's West End on Commercial Street and is perfect for one person or a couple. The layout consists of one main room, a galley kitchen and a bathroom. In the main room you'll find a full size bed, a small dining table and two dining chairs. The galley kitchen consists of a two-burner cooktop, microwave, small refrigerator and sink. The kitchen also has a coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, utensils, etc. There is cable TV and an audio system to which you can attach your iPod or phone as well as wifi. There is also an AC. The location of the cottage is at the point where Commercial Street turns residential.

There is no smoking in the unit or on the grounds. Parking does not come with this apartment but if you have a car there is a town lot close by and it's easy to find a spot if you're coming in the off season. Ptown is a walking village so you won't need to be driving. Pets are not allowed.

Note that we do not charge a cleaning fee with this rental. It is included in the cost. :)

*** UPDATE *** Massachusetts recently passed a short term rental tax of 14.45%. HomeAway will be adding this tax to all reservations starting on July 1 but until that time the tax will be added as a separate charge. This only applies to rentals starting on or later than July 1.

Staying at the cottage is always a privilege. This was my second visit to this charming unit and the experience did not disappoint. Good value as it was very Clean and a great location

The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos. It was very clean and a great location at the west end of Commercial Street for getting around and not being in the thick of the businesses and noise. Pretty quiet area.

Perfect space for a hideaway

The cottage was so centrally located that anything you would want to walk to was less than 10 minutes away. The use of space in the cottage is admirable and allows you to feel as if it is a bigger space than it is. I was able to get work done while there and conduct meetings virtually without it appearing as though I was in a bedroom or studio.

Perfect location

This cottage is perfect for single travelers! I had a bunch of friends in town this week but I highly value my own space so this property worked out perfectly. The AC works great; the bathroom can get a little humid (as does everywhere in Provincetown) but the hosts keep you well stocked with towels. Might be a bit tight for two if you get a few rainy days, as there's not really anywhere to "be" other than the bed, but for just me I couldn't have asked for anything better. Very well located to tea, easy walk to both the beach/PTown Inn end of things and the Lobster Pot end of things. Will be back next year!

Perfect, charming cottage

This little house is centrally located and has everything you need to make your stay in Ptown absolutely wonderful. The air conditioning works like a champ! Plenty of towels, including beach towels. It's quiet despite being so close to Commercial. I would absolutely book again.

Welcome HomeAway Renters. Our names are Matt and Dominick and we live in New York City but reside in Provincetown, MA part-time during the summer months with frequent stays in the offseason. We've been coming to Provincetown for more than 20 years and absolutely love this town. Whether you choose to stay with us or somewhere else, we hope you decide to visit to discover what a truly special place Ptown is and why we love it so much. This is the second property that we own here and it has become a very special place for us both.

We fell in love with this cottage because it's so damn cute and you will, too. We had passed it for years during our strolls along Commercial Street and could not believe our good fortune when we saw a for sale sign posted outside this past summer. That's when we decided to make it our own. (The former owners were also very attached to the property and it shows from how well they cared for it.) Since our purchase, we've been taking the cottage from "good to great" by making improvements almost every month for our guests to enjoy. If you choose to stay with us, you'll find that the cottage is a charming little unit. It's perfect for a single person or couple that wants a cute, clean little place in the West End from which you can explore all that Ptown has to offer. If you are seeking a space where you can accommodate additional guests during your stay (e.g., friends for a dinner or small cocktail party) this probably is not the right spot. But, if you are seeking something akin to a nice hotel room with a small kitchen and bathroom, this is your spot. You'll be very comfortable.
