Beachy Betterton

Lovely stay for 4 adults combining birthday and July 4 celebration. Comfy family home with screened porch and backyard gazebo for outdoor relaxation/entertainment. Quick walk to beach and outdoor shower for return. Responsive communications with host. Chef tasting menus at high-end restaurants: Sassafras and Watershed Alley. Also tooled around street market and shops in Chestertown Saturday. Great time had by all.

Hi, I’m Pat and our family is from West Chester, PA and the proud owners of our beloved 100-year-old Victorian home. We have cherished this house since 1992, and it holds a special place in our hearts.

I enjoy gardening, restoring old homes, cooking for a crowd, boating on the Chesapeake, watching our beautiful sunsets and soaking up the natural beauty of the Chesapeake Bay.

Hosting allows us to share this peaceful slice of the shore with others. Whether you’re here for a relaxing weekend, a family gathering, or simply to enjoy the bay breeze and sunsets, we hope you feel right at home.

We’ve poured years of care into preserving the unique charm of this home while adding just the right updates for modern comfort. I look forward to sharing it with you!

My husband spent his childhood summers across from Turkey Point, and when our kids wanted to bring friends along for boat trips, we went looking for a spot that had it all — a beach, calm waters, and no sea nettles. Betterton had everything we hoped for. It’s been our peaceful escape ever since — a place where life slows down and lasting memories are made.
