River view

Our family couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay!! Beautiful home with an amazing kitchen!! Temperature controls upstairs and downstairs ensured great sleeping. Quiet location with a beautiful water view. There’s also a nice park right down the street 
 perfect playground for the kids and pickle ball court for the adults.

Alumni Weekend on the Lazy (Chester) River

Lindsay and Kyle have all the details covered at their Lazy River House! We had an excellent stay while attending alumni events at nearby Washington College. This is our second great experience with their property, and we’ll look forward to another occasion in the future!

Perfect for us

We really enjoyed our stay. Plan to come back and stay again. The 3 bedrooms were huge! Nicely appointed kitchen with everything that you would need. Very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the sun set. The tennis courts and play area down the road were immaculate- literally 4 or 5 minutes by bike. Our only suggestion for the owners would be to maybe add a table and chairs for a family to eat on the deck.

Amazing Friends Vacation

Wow! The 6 of us all had an amazing, relaxing week at the Lazy River House. The house was so clean and had everything we needed. We all enjoyed sitting on the spacious deck drinking coffee/tea in the morning and enjoyed a cocktail watching the sunset. Kyle and Lindsay left detailed information on the house and surrounding area which was extremely helpful. The kitchen is amazing!! Highly recommend staying here.

90th bday celebration weekend.. house was our gathering place night b4 and after the party.. had age range from 8mths old to 90yrs young. House was perfect setting for all to enjoy! Plenty of space

Beautiful Location on the Chester River

The property sits right on the south side of the Chester River and is beautiful. It's only about a 5-minute drive to downtown Chestertown and Washington College campus. The house was very roomy with HUGE bedrooms and 2 sitting areas with comfortable couches and nice sized TV's. The kitchen is modern and has all of the amenities you would ever need. The best part is the balconies on both floors with fantastic views of the rivers. The provided kayaks were nice to experience the river "up close". Another nice unexpected feature was the park just a walk away with nice tennis and pickleball courts. Would highly recommend to families looking for ample room, great views, and a clean place to say! We will definitely be returning to this one!

Amazing time at Lazy River House

My family and I had such a wonderful time at the Lazy River. The house was very spacious, open and bright. My family and I had enough room to enjoy family activities and also private time alone. The make up of the house is perfect for couples and families. I can't say enough about the newly remodeled kitchen, and the spacious outdoor decks overlooking the water. We enjoyed watching the sun rise and set daily. We enjoyed yoga on the lower deck in the mornings over looking the water, and we enjoyed having a night cap on the upper deck at night, while starring at the stars. We went on walks in the mornings and evenings, it's just a beautiful peaceful neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Seemed so far away, but local grocery stores etc...was just a few minutes away. Thank you Kyle for being such a great host. We definitely recommend this home and if we could give this home 10 stars, we would :).

Family vacation

This was a perfect property for our family vacation. We had a great time enjoying the local town, sitting out on the deck, and spending time together. We had 4 young children and the property was well set up to accommodate them as well.

Fantastic Eastern Shore Retreat

We had a wonderful time celebrating my son’s graduation from Washington College in Chestertown. From the reservation to the check out process, Lindsay and Kyle were delightful hosts. Their Lazy River House is a terrific property with all the wonderful amenities to make for a perfect getaway, or in our case, the epicenter for gathering with family and friends.
