very cozy little cottage by a lovely little lake, it's only about 20 minutes from the WWU campus, so it's a great spot to be out of the city, but close to your kid. It was our second stay, and it was just as comfortable this time as it was the first time.

This is such a beautiful spot to spend a few days on Lake Samish! The location really makes it special—peaceful and quiet, right on the water, with beautiful lake views and easy access to enjoy everything the lake has to offer. The place had everything we needed to settle in, unplug, and relax. It was the perfect little getaway, and we can’t wait to come back!

Simply a lovely spot- exactly what we needed and were hoping for. Checking in and out was convenient. The whole property is very thoughtfully apportioned for maximum relaxation and enjoyment.

Improvements Needed

The two rooms up extremely steep stairs with a cut out in the floor is extremely dangerous and was not safe for 2 of our guests.There was no coffee.They must have been spying us cause I got a notice asking how many guests we haf even though I notified them.

Hi Susan- Sorry that you didn’t review the pictures as they show the stairs and rooms completely. We offer tea for all our guests and a coffee machine should you want to bring your own coffee. We also mention in our listing that there are exterior cameras for security. It was a shame you got caught by our property managers that you had more guests than you declared. Was very pleased with this little place. Has everything you need pluss more. Even fishing off the dock was good. Definitely a place to come to again just to leave the cares of the world behind.
