We were there for the Lumberjack 100 ride. Great location and everything we needed for trip. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. We plan on making another trip back next year.
The house was beautiful, spacious, and in an excellent location—so close to everything! Liz was a wonderful host and made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The only thing we’d note is that the bed was a bit too firm for our preference, but everything else was absolutely wonderful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Thank you again!

Thank you for staying with us, Janeesha! We hope you visit again soon. I’m glad you had a great trip with your family!
We loved our stay at the Sullivan Summer House! The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Check in was a breeze. The kitchen was amazing, including an instapot and waffle maker. The beach umbrella and beach toys were a big plus too. The shady backyard and outdoor furniture made for a great hang-out space. The location was ideal for walking to the beach and to town. The host was super helpful and always quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again!

Debbie, thank you for choosing to stay with us in Manistee! We’re happy to hear you had a great stay with family and we’d love for you to visit again soon!
We enjoyed a long weekend at this charming rental home. It’s all about location as it’s a short walk to First Street Beach, downtown Manistee and the Riverwalk. The house has a fun beach vibe, decorated in charming style and equipped with all that you need. We loved the upstairs bunk room with the TV and DVD player. It’s a nice large space for the grandkids to have fun and spread out. We especially enjoyed our hike at Magoon Creek and the best Lake MI beach. Thank you for sharing your home and your great little city!

We’re so glad you had a great trip with your family, Barbara! Magoon creek is our favorite place for rock hunting. We hope to see you again soon!
We rented the Sullivan House for a 5 day, multigenerational vacation. The host was timely & communicative, and the house was in a fantastic location! Easy walk to downtown or just a few minutes drive. The beach items (boogie boards, floats, towels etc) were super great to have! The host had a lot of fun games, records, and the kitchen was stocked with amenities! Check-in & out was VERY simple & stress free!Things to note if you decide to book (nothing negative, just good to consider!):• It’s an old house with no central air. As listed, there are fans and an air conditioner in the bottom bedroom and upstairs hallway, but even with those running the temp stayed pretty steady at 80 in the house.• The AC upstairs is also a dehumidifier and needs emptied quite frequently or it risks being overflowed.• The bathroom downstairs is a claw bathtub. It’s pretty to look at, but my grandparents were unable to climb in & out. It also feels cramped.• Loved having a washer & dryer available, especially after beach time! But they are older models and we had to do 2 rinse/spin cycles to get all the water out & also found the dryer took almost 2 cycles to fully dry.• The exterior steps were slick when wet. I would suggest putting a rubber mat to help make it safer.**The only true negative for us was the foul odor that smelled like sewer gas. It wasn’t unbearable, and we burned candles when home to help, but it wasn’t unbearable really noticeable in the basement. Thanks again!!!!
