Loved our stay!

  • 5 of 5

We were in Glen Ellen for a friend's 40th birthday weekend. This property was PERFECT for our group of 5. The living space is extremely comfortable with a great couch, chairs and good sized tv. The kitchen set up is ideal, open and had everything we needed to make a few meals. We were able to enjoy each other's company over dinner and breakfast at the large dining table. And the outdoor space is amazing - very comfortable and relaxing. Don't forget your bathing suit for the hot tub! The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. We made quite a few trips to the Glen Ellen Village Market - has everything you need. As we were departing, we were already talking about planning a trip back! Thanks Norma!

The proximity to town is great, however, I do not recommend walking. The road is very windy and there is no sidewalk. Definitely dangerous as a pedestrian whether it is light or dark out.

I highly recommend this property.

This VRBO could not have been more amazing. The pictures do not do the place justice. The living room is big yet cozy, with a sizeable backyard. It was close to downtown Glen Ellen, and a short drive to downtown Sonoma. We'll definitely be back!

Great location, terrific amenities and comfort; close to a country road with traffic noise.

  • 4 of 5

It was easy to work with Norma, and the house is lovely, particularly the downstairs -- spacious, light, comfortable furniture, well-equipped kitchen. It is not a "5 minute walk" from Glen Ellen, but it is less than 5-minute drive (on a road not conducive to walking). A gorgeous old oak tree hangs over much the back yard, providing cooling shade for the terrace, and a wonderful swing hangs from its main side branch. The beds were comfortable. The upstairs rooms are a bit tight, the driveway can be tricky to navigate if you are with a group with more than one car - it can easily hold 4 cars, but you just have to be careful going in and out due to the incline of the driveway and the busy road. We were there on a fine summer weekend, and there was a lot of traffic noise from the road. We enjoyed the wonderful large hot tub, easy to heat, etc., though a bit tight to get around to get into if you're not coming from the master bedroom.

Very beautiful house with nice large patio

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in this beautiful house.

Every room was tastefully furnished.

Beautiful well equipped kitchen and dining with comfortable living room.

We enjoyed the large patio garden with BBQ grill.

All the beds were comfortable except one single bed upstairs.

We would highly recommend this property.

Great location; great for small families, group of frinds

  • 4 of 5

As advertised, this home is in a perfect location for touring Somona and environs, especially the Russian River and Pacific Coast. Home is literally on the road, so some traffic noise is always present and might bother some. Downstairs is nicely decorated; kitchen has everything; and patio outside very pleasant. Upstairs has one nice room w twin beds and the other is more of an attic with a queen bed literally squeezed in (not really a bedroom). For our taste, rooms were warm and only cooled a bit with all fans going and windows open. Very clean and well kept space; we would return.
