Great space. Beware that the driveway is steep and you will scrap the bottom of your vehicle entering and exiting. Great space otherwise and amazing communication from the owner.

We had a wonderful stay at The Bare Necessities this weekend! Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. There were a few small hiccups during our stay, but they were handled quickly and efficiently, which we really appreciated. The responsiveness made a big difference and showed great care from the hosts. The property itself was comfortable, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It’s also in a great location—about an easy 25-minute drive to Dollywood and other local experiences, which made getting out and exploring super convenient. We truly enjoyed our time and felt right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a great place to unwind!

This was our first time renting a house for a family vacation, and it couldn't have been a better experience. It was the perfect place to spend quality time together and create memories we'll cherish for years. We loved relaxing around the fire pit, soaking in the hot tub, and having friendly competitions at the pool table. There were so many laughs while playing games, cooking meals, and simply enjoying each other's company. The house layout was excellent, giving everyone space to unwind while still offering great common areas to gather. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, from exploring Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.I also loved the décor throughout the home. As a Coca-Cola and Elvis fan, I really appreciated all the thoughtful touches. My only suggestion is regarding the trash. With a large group, the outdoor cans filled quickly. We understand the need to limit trash because of bears and wildlife, but it would have been helpful to know ahead of time that we might need to take trash to the dump if the cans became full.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. We had an amazing stay, made unforgettable memories, and would absolutely love to stay here again!

A Family Win

Great place and location. Plenty of space for our large family . Located on a nice, quiet area outside, but convenient to, the main tourism are. Convenient to all we wanted to do. Lovely porch views. Modern cabin but rustic feel. Driveway is at an angle so need caution with low vehicles. This place was a win for our family vacation.
