Great Week

We had a great time. We did have an issue with ants. We let them know about the issue so hopefully they will take care of them for future guests. Ward was great and was quick to help us each time we contacted them.

Quick Getaway

We were pleased to be able to book this property with less than two weeks' notice. We loved the view of the ocean and the close proximity to beach access and the eateries we love. Can't wait to visit again!

The property was well maintained and furnished appropriately. Recommendation to the owner...., floor protectors for hardwood floors in LR & Dining are non-existent making the floors show extensive marred & scratched marks. Defacing beautiful wood floor! These floor protectors need to be replaced promptly and periodically replaced. Also, suggest sets of door hooks on the back of bathroom & bedroom doors. Help to hang towels & clothing when full occupancy

Ward reality was most amazing! The house provided us with the space we needed. However the house was with dog hair in clumps on the floors couches left us with hair on our clothes we cleaned the floors couch took out some trash .. after that it was good.

Everything you need

Just like the title, this place has everything you need. It is not the nicest house, but it is very clean. The furniture is a little worn, it needs updating, and the beds aren’t the most comfortable. Ultimately, though, this house is probably the best bang for the buck of any rental I have had. There are 2 floors for separate living areas, plenty of space, 2 decks, a view of the ocean, close beach access... the list goes on. It’s in a great location- outside of town, but close enough to walk. It is well stocked with everything you need for cooking and cleaning. There is no shared wall with another unit and good parking. For our needs, I couldn’t ask for more. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Meeting in the middle beach vacation

From the very beginning over 15 months ago, the rental process was awesome. We originally planned this trip for spring of 2020 but it was pushed back a year because of the pandemic. It was everything we dreamed it would be and more. Clean, bright, and spacious! A short walk to the beach and what’s not to like about watching the sun come up over turquoise blue water and warm sands. The management kept us up to date for the entire year . Even the kids made comments how much they wanted to stay for another week! Thank you

Great house and great location

Great time it was March and really chilly and some rain. It would of been helpful to know how to work the thermostats, we would turn heat on but wake up freezing in the morning and 64 degrees! A lot of remotes with no directions on TVs for which input and remote to use!

Great vacation despite the locals

We had a lovely time spending time with extended family on Topsail Island and it’s beau beach. The reservation process and communication with the property owner was outstanding, as was the accommodation itself. The well-furnished house was perfect for our group of 9. Unfortunately, we were frustrated by the difficulty in accessing the beach. I’ll explain ... Our private beach access (to be utilized by about 10-12 properties) was destroyed during hurricane season and hadn’t been replaced yet. Local residents just utilized the next nearest private access (serving another 10-12 addresses) to the beach. When we attempted this, locals wanted to take our pictures, threatened to call police for trespassing, etc.. Keep in mind, this access point was open to other renters with particular addresses and other locals. Come on people.....it’s a walkway with stairs!!! We ended up walking past 3 such entrances to use the public beach access. Doesn’t seem like a big deal, but instead of having a 40 yard walk to the beach, it ended up to be about 350 yards. Pretty miserable interactions with 3 separate local residents. It’s a beautiful beach, just not as easily accessible as it may appear. Quite honestly, the accommodation and beach were great but I probably won’t return or recommend. There are plenty of other destinations that are receptive and welcoming to tourists.

Great vacation 2017

We had a wonderful time during our stay during Aug 2017. The house was just like description that was given. Everything was in working condition and clean as could be. The short and I do mean short walk to the beach was son nice. Will be staying there again.

Nice location, good layout, nice view

Overall, descent house. Had a great week and enjoyed the close beach access! Shower water was hot immediately; Nice structurally, most appliances worked well. Beds in rooms were comfortable, the layout of the house worked well with having small children. Few suggested improvements: found lots of black hairs on floors and in silver ware (looked like dog hair although pets aren't allowed) found a large roach in bed, oven easily burnt food, some cookware is cheap and difficult to use (cutting knives), mattress on pull out bed is worn and individual springs can be felt. Other than these improvements, we enjoyed our week there.
