The house was just as described and had plenty of space for my whole family. We love that we were able to take our pup with us! The neighborhood was beautiful and the location was perfect. Communication with the owners was easy and if any questions arose they were answered quickly. We had a wonderful family weekend in this beautiful rental!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. Our multi-generational extended family of 10 stayed for a week and the house and amenities were amazing for everyone. The house is large and every bedroom has an ensuite bathroom(!) The pool was incredible and we went every day. The house is conveniently located near grocery stores. When we had any questions, they were answered within hours. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We were extremely pleased with this location! The property is beautiful, and it was awesome that it had umbrellas, chairs, beach mats, boogie boards and a cart to help carry things to the beach!!We have a family of 5 and there was more than enough space for all of us… and lots of nooks if you wanted to get away and watch TV or read by yourself. The neighborhood was perfect for talking walks in the morning or evening and everyone we met was extremely friendly! The location was very close to shopping and Bethany beach wasn’t far at all. The pool and pickle ball courts were a hit as well! I would definitely return to this house again or rent other properties from this owner!

The house was lovely and well decorated. It was very roomy - there were 10 of us and there was ample space for everyone. We loved that there were sufficient pots, pans, etc. for cooking as well as a lot of toys and games. It was in a lovely neighborhood with a nice community pool, gym, basketball courts etc. Fenwick Island beach is a few minutes away- it’s a quiet beach without a boardwalk. Overall we had an enjoyable and relaxing weekend.

The house was better than advertised. Very spacious for 2 families and the amenities were outstanding. Between the pool table, ping pong table and bikes at the house along with the community pickleball courts and pool we didn't need to leave! Check in and out were very easy. Would definitely stay again.

We held our family reunion in this lovely gem of a beach home! The property contained everything we needed and more. Our group included young children, who loved the bunk beds, board games, game room, and bikes! Us parents appreciated the quiet neighborhood with sidewalks and amenities like the pool and gym. We were impressed by small things that were included, such as paper products, trash bags, and even condiments and seasonings. The included linens and towels are also a huge plus, saving us valuable luggage space. The first floor suite was excellent for the more mature members of our family, as well. Overall, the home was cozy and spacious. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and grocery stores. Bob and Jennifer were a pleasure to work with and were excellent communicators. I would absolutely recommend staying in this wonderful home.

Serenity and Solitude and so much more

I’ve been to many VRBOs in my time but never have I been so overwhelmed – in the best of all possible ways – as I was entering Solitude and Serenity (the most appropriate of monikers) in W. Fenwick, Delaware. It took almost as much time to explore just the first floor (of two) as it did to drive from Washington, DC. Every step – and every room – every nook and cranny – demands attention because there’s some clever adornment, pithy saying, beach décor, beautiful furnishings and multiple whimsical decorations and embellishments that continue to delight. There are small reading rooms, large sitting areas, a huge, well-stocked kitchen, dining and living space, a master bedroom and bath, a lanai facing outside and separate outdoor areas for relaxing, grilling, and gazing upon the resident pond. Even the garage is worth a visit as it’s loaded with beach and sports equipment, bikes galore, and ping pong and billiard tables. Upstairs more bedrooms and balconies, more decorative treats to discover. Did I mention that large TV screens are everywhere?Lots of written instructions around to answer any questions you may have and an informative guest book is provided with even more. There’s even a list of friendly instructions for your pet. Books and games are available for kids and adults so a glorious haven for families as well as a fantastic getaway with friends. There are so many things to explore, laugh at or admire that you may never want to leave. But if you do, beaches await you.
