This was great for our family with three kids 5 and under. They loved playing in the covered pavilion and with the play kitchen inside. Ms. Tammy let them feed apples to the cows. It was very clean and well stocked.

Did a get away for my other half’s birthday as well as nee exciting adventures for the toddler. The property was gorgeous and perfect for those traveling with kids! Peaceful with only animals near. The owner is very friendly and flexible as we were late arrivals on our first night given travels. Place had all we needed for our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Big Porch Cottage! The house was wonderful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our family vacation. The peaceful country setting was perfect, and the friendly black farm cat was an unexpected bonus that our family really enjoyed!Tammy and Steve were fantastic hosts! Tammy was incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with from beginning to end. They truly made us feel welcome and were always willing to help with anything we needed.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We made some wonderful family memories here and would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend Big Porch Cottage to anyone visiting the Chattanooga area!

Always an excellent place to stay in Chattanooga! This is our 3rd or 4th stay in the Big Porch Cottage, and we would happily stay there again. Tammy is easy to contact via text. The house is a good size with a nice yard and plenty of activities (puzzles, games, books, etc.) for families. It is about 20 minutes into downtown, but don't mind the drive for such a peaceful setting.

An amazing stay! The Big Porch Cottage was so beautiful & cozy. So much room for my little ones to run around, beautiful pavilion for outdoor play & the front porch was so relaxing. Miss Tammy was so accommodating & helpful. 10/10, can’t wait to book another trip to Chattanooga just so we can have another stay.

This place was so welcoming and cozy. Our host made sure we felt right at home. The kitchen was well stocked and having cows to view right on the side of the cottage was a nice bonus! We will definitely be back!

Our visit to Big Porch Cottage was wonderful! Everything was just as stated online, Tammy was wonderful to work with, and the drive into Chattanooga was beautiful! It was the perfect place for a family getaway; our 22 months old grandson agrees! If we find ourselves back in the area, we will certainly be back. Thank you!!

My family enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, kitchen fully equipped, bathrooms had everything we needed, including a hair dryer and shampoo and body wash in case we forgot those items. Communication was great, seriously a wonderful experience. A nice yard for throwing a football or frisbee. Bonus were the cows, and even the calf who came close to the fence for us to see. Great location, peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us.

The porch was worthy to be used in the cottage's name! I love to take a break while cleaning, just to rock/swing and listen to the birds, or maybe catch a glimpse of a turkey family or maybe a rabbit. Thank you for choosing our cottage. We hope you can visit again sometime!

A perfect place to relax after a day in Chattanooga

My family loved staying in the Big Cottage after a day in Chattanooga. It was nice not to be in the hustle and bustle of the city and instead to be surrounded by the woods and nature in the farm setting!
