Absolutely loved this home! The antique, vintage, and eclectic furniture and decorations gave this property such a great vibe. From the front porch to the game room and well stocked pantry, this house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Comfy beds, nice linens, and the little extras upstairs were much appreciated! Will definitely stay again!

Lori and her companions were awesome guests. They left the residence very clean and were easy to communicate with. Would be happy to rent to them in the future.
Easy communication with host. They definitely go above & beyond for their guests-the whole house was decorated for Christmas! Just beautiful. Easy to find. Spacious enough for small family gatherings. Everything you need in kitchen (no spices). Ton of games. Ton of reading material. Super clean!

Thanks for the great review. You were wonderful guests. Left home super clean. Sorry about the lack of spices, Because we are State liscensed, the State of Wisconsin does not allow us any products that are not sealed when you arrive. If we can figure a way to do it, we definitely would. Hope you have a great year!
This is a beautiful home, very roomy and comfortable in a nice safe neighborhood. It was within walking distance of several restaurants and not too far of a drive to the Road America track. Pretty much anything you could need was provided, including some unexpected amenities from our host, Carol. Highly recommended!

Thank you Matthew. When you have five star guests like your party, hosting is a breeze. Enjoy the rest of your summer
Carol was very charming and accommodating! Went above and beyond expectations! Cute house, plenty of room for a maximum of eight. Little things like ziplock bags available, salt and pepper, etc. Ice bags in the fridge. (Actually both in the kitchen and a fridge in the garage. We came up for Sturgeon fishing. Carol’s husband even set up a place in the garage for cleaning the fish. However, we didn’t get any. LolThanks Carol!!

Great group! Love the photo. Felt bad they didn’t get any fish but maybe next year. They left the house super clean and even left a gift. Loved having them.
We loved our stay in this most unique home in Chilton. We used it as a base for our sojourns down to Lake Winnebago, nearby Fond du Lac, and more. We had communicated with Carol that we were bringing our young granddaughters, and when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see that Carol had laid out brand new children’s activities (coloring materials) games, and light sticks for the Fourth of July celebrations. All was so special, but what the kids loved most was exploring the various rooms and spaces, all decorated with odd era pieces and memorabilia from two or three generations ago. A truly delightful stay; we’ll return, definitely!

We purchased this home because we wanted to preserve its historical significance to the area. We love renovating and want to share this particular home with others as it is so interesting.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is very nice, centrally located and there are other beautiful homes on the street to see if strolling about.
What makes this property unique
The historical nature and architecture of this home makes it very unique. Built in 1902, we are only the fourth owner as it has been in the malt company family for almost a century.
