Are you looking to go to a place where life is less complicated, less hurried and immensely more enjoyable?
If so look no farther than the Florida Keys! In the Keys, time is on your side. Adventure and excitement are found at your pace and at the end of the day you return to your own vacation home and relax on your dock with not a care in the world.

The vacation house is a 1600 foot half duplex located on a wide canal facing east. The brand new deck is the perfect place to enjoy the sunrise at breakfast, have an afternoon nap or toast the day with a cocktail and a great Keys seafood dinner-with your “ catch of the day “.
We have installed a fence around the periphery of the deck to make it safer for children and adults alike.
Newer and modern outdoor furniture with 2 chaise lounge chairs and 2 tables with chairs.
The step down dock is accessible through a lockable gate.
The dock itself is 37.5 feet long with fish cleaning table.
A large ice machine is located on the side of the house.

The duplex itself has been renovated and contains upscale furniture throughout The bedrooms all have large flatscreen TVs as well as iPad/iPod dockable him and clock radios. All of the rooms have ceiling fans.

The kitchen has granite surfaces and stainless steel appliances as well as gourmet cooking equipment. Preparing your catch after a successful day of fishing will be a snap. Don't forget that your favorite vintage is waiting in the built-in wine cooler!

Located in the heart of the Florida Keys, Key Colony Beach is a short walk, car or boat ride from the main attractions of the Keys region. Water sports are king and if you like fishing, you have your choice of world-class deep-sea, flats fishing, fly fishing or just wading in the water to catch your dinner..
A private 37.5 foot dock is right outside your door. Fishing, diving, snorkeling, touring, sunbathing, or just lounging on the deck or at a nearby club or beach are all available depending on your mood. Tennis courts, a par three golf course, bocce ball courts, and children's playgrounds are all within an easy stroll.
Your vacation rental includes a membership at the Key Colony Beach Cabana Club and Inch Beach, both are short walk or bike ride away. The Cabana Club has a full size pool, sandy beach and an authentic Tiki bar. Beverages and food are available at your request. At Inch Beach you will find a private sandy beach, picnicking facilities with a grill and a large grassy area for children.
Within a few more steps, Sunset Park is the place to wind down your day. The sunset views are amazing and throughout the year free concerts are held at Sunset Park, just before sunset. Bring your lounge chairs, coolers and snacks-relax, listen to the music and watch the sunset.

Perfect location for what we do. Easy access to the Ocean or Florida Bay and we love KCB for that. House in good repair and well equipped. Great kitchen. Throughout the process, host Gregg was slow responding to our communications. Ended up speaking with owner Mike, who was great. A 5 star rental. We stay in KCB annually for the last 15 years. Best house we've rented!!!

The property was very nice. The home is spacious and provides everything for a great stay. The dock is very nice. Gregg was great to communicate with and I made a late change to add an unexpected guest which required a change to the pool access and was handled immediately. Highly recommended.

What a Great Month in the Keys!

Bottom line up front — this was our second year staying here for the month, and we’ll be back next year for a month as well. Believe that says-it-all. All the comforts of home, plus a deck on the canal, plus the Cabana Club, plus Inch Beach — who could ask for more? Well-suited for families, our “grand-dudes” (2, 3, and 5) had a great time as well. Greatly appreciate that we have been able to live in Key Colony, looking forward to many more years.

Everything about this place was wonderful. It was a great location- close enough to the necessities, but our of the busy touristy setting. We fished right off the dock and saw sharks, jellyfish, a manatee and other sea life. The pool club was amazing and offered a more laid back setting. Had absolutely everything we needed to make our own meals and fell right at home. Gregg was just a text away for any questions that we had. We'll hopefully bring going back to this property for another visit.

Very nice place. We booked based on reviews, bc photos did not represent property well. A few maintenance issues, but property manager said those are being addressed. Key colony is a nice community, deck space was fantastic. House is very well equipped. We were a little disappointed that pool wasn’t a little closer and only a few of the bikes were in working order. Overall, great place, would stay again.

Two perfect weeks!!

We picked a great house this year. Plenty of room for two couples to spread out. Because of COVID, we did not go to restaurants and cooked in every night. The kitchen had more than enough of everything to make meal prep enjoyable. We enjoyed the deck and the dock and the ice machine was such an added bonus. Super location, just a short ride from the boat ramp to the canal. The house is clean and well taken care of. Booking process was easy and the check in and check out instructions clear. The manager Gregg was available for any questions. Highly recommend this house.

Our family enjoyed a great stay at this property and would highly recommend it to others! The pictures and description don't tell the whole story. This property is a hidden gem, very spacious and the kitchen is extraordinary - so well equipped by the "foodie" owners (who also provided a welcome gift upon our arrival=). The bedrooms are roomy with very comfortable beds and the Master suite was truly incredible. The deck was a great spot to sit and relax or eat meals and provided convenient access to the canal for our SeaDoos or for manatee watching. We also really appreciated having the garage as well as bikes available for rides to the beach or Cabana Club. Thanks Michael for sharing your beautiful home and for being so attentive to the details!

We grew up in Michigan and went to school there until moving to the Pacific Northwest 35 years ago. Even though we were in the Pacific Northwest we vacationed in the Florida Keys as often as possible. On retirement we moved to St. Augustine and continued coming to the Keys on a regular basis. We have owned A townhouse on Duck Key for 14 years. When this duplex became available earlier this year we knew that it would be an ideal location for relaxing, boating and fishing.

Why they chose this property

This duplex is located in the heart of Key Colony Beach on 10th St. it's a short walk and even a shorter bike ride to most of the amenities in the city. This includes the Cabana club, a beach and pool club with a private tiki bar. It's also less than a quarter-mile from Inch Beach and Sunset Park. The street is in a quiet neighborhood and does not have a high volume of traffic.At least three restaurants are located within walking/biking distance. Many other good restaurants are located in the city of Marathon and other places in the adjacent keys within a reasonable drive.

What makes this property unique

Sitting on the spacious deck guests are able to enjoy a beautiful Florida Keys sunrise or watch fish play in the evening around the specially installed underwater light. The deck has been fenced to provide safety for children. For fishermen there is a dedicated ice maker and bait freezer. For the gourmet cook in the group there is a fully appointed modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a gas stove. A wine cooler is available to keep your favorite vintage at the right temperature for when you return from a day of relaxation or play.
