great tybee getaway!

The place is super clean in a great beachfront location. Beds were comfy. My only suggestion, - please keep beach chairs in the unit for guests to use. Very frustrating having to rent those.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE

This property was just as pictured. Very very clean when we got there, and AC was on already. We appreciated that we got a text as soon as the condo was ready so we were able to check in a little early. The bathroom showers were amazing, the kitchen appliances were clean and updated, washer/dryer worked well. And the hot tub and patio were an added plus, and also very clean. Our family was very comfortable here and we would definitely recommend this place!

The Gardens Condo

The condo was very spacious for our group of 6 girls. The outdoor patio was large and very private, which we loved. The pool area and bar/restaurant were a great bonus! Awesome drinks and food! The location is great as well, but I do recommend renting a golf cart (which we did) to explore the island, for shopping and restaurants. The only downfall for us was that check in is not located at the condos, which created an issue for us since we took an Uber from the airport. Overall, would highly recommend and would stay there again!

Beautiful home great location

The home was just as pictured. Elegantly decorated with all the touches of home. The beach is just on the other side of the building so not a long walk at all. We enjoyed the pool area and the Deck restaurant/bar. Everything you need is close by. We had an issue while we were there and the property management company worked with us to make it right. Our family had a lovely time.

The only suggestion is put something over the hot tub so it can be used when its rsining..we left ea

Over all it was perfect well equipped kitchen..and towels soap toilet paper etc...we left early because the rain prevented us from using the hot tub or going to the beach..maybe make a cover above the hot tub like the condo behind this one so if it rains you can still enjoy the hottub...thanks..

Very clean, pictures do not do this property justice!

Unit was a little difficult to find within the complex but it was definitely worth the search! This unit is large and open and airy. Plenty of natural light, high ceilings, even a pretty stained glass window to catch the evening sun. Nice furnishings, lovely kitchen, everything in working order. Garden courtyard was such a nice touch. Unit is extremely clean, which is super important during covid and when traveling with children. Would 100% stay at this property again and again.

We enjoyed our visit. The condo was refurbished recently (this review in mid-2018). Tasteful decor, good quality appliances and furnishings, everything fully functional. Surprisingly quiet, with no units above or below. Cleaning was above-average for a beach condo. The only downsides are external... this is not an ocean-view unit, parking in the Beachside Colony garage is cozy for modern SUV & cross-over vehicles, the pools are too small for the occupancy load. However the beach is expansive and beach access is easy. Overall, we were pleased and plan to return.

Great condo, great location, great family vacation

My wife and I, and our five kids, just got back from 10 days at Tybee Island. This condo is a well-maintained and clean condo in a great location. The condo development at South has a great restaurant on site as well. We are a very active family but the kids had so much fun playing at the beach and at the pool that we did not leave the condo development for three days straight. This condo also has a hot tub and a private outdoor space. For our family, it was perfect. One thing to note is that you do pick up the condo information and door codes at a separate location buts it’s really close and easy. when you arrive at the condo it literally has nothing for condiments. So we had to immediately go to Sam’s Club and purchase toilet paper, soap, salt and pepper, all the basics that you normally would get at a VBRO. Again, not a big deal but just not what we expected. My only recommendation for this condo would be updated bedding including additional blankets. We were so cold that we had to turn up the heat because there is nothing but a sheet and a very thin, old bedspread.

Tybee vaca

The check in process was super easy. We had problems with the coffee pot and the hot tub not heating. We stopped in at the office on our way off the island. They gave us a new coffee pot and the hot tub was hot and ready for us to get in. They were easy to work with on these issues. We used the hot tub every evening. We will definitely stay here again.

Privacy galore

The highlight of the condo is the private hot tub. You might hear your neighbors but you will never see them. The access to the beach couldn't have easier and it was awesome to have a restaurant that we could walk to. The only downside was the management was stingy with supplies -- for a 4 night stay we only had 6 washcloths (for a family of 5) and only 3 dishwasher tabs. We had to run laundry to get clean linens and had to wash dishes by hand in order to preserve a tab for checkout. When we inquired if we could pick up more we were told we would have to get some from the IGA.

Perfect Family Stay

The property was perfect for me, my husband, mom, sister, my teenage son and my 1 and half year old daughter. We wanted to ensure we had plenty of space to relax and do our "own thing" if needed during the vacation. The condo allowed us have our own rooms that were spacious. The open floor plan and high ceilings made the stay even better! We loved sitting out on the patio in the evenings together. We loved the fact the condo is on the beach. It was a 1 min walk to having your chair in the sand and relaxing. The pool access was nice as well. My daughter enjoyed the kid area. This was our first trip to Tybee and we will definitely be back! I would recommend this condo to any family planning a trip.
