La vida de la isla al máximo. Si te encanta el aire libre, este es el lugar para ti. The Beach Apartment está ubicado al pie de la única y única selva tropical de los EE. UU., El Yunque. Ático recientemente remodelado con 3 habitaciones amplias. El apartamento tiene un balcón y una terraza en el segundo piso con la mejor vista del mar Caribe y El Yunque. El complejo de apartamentos se encuentra en primera línea de playa y cuenta con piscina al aire libre, cancha de tenis, cancha de baloncesto, parque infantil y seguridad las 24 horas. Se encuentra en el pueblo pesquero de Playa Hucares, que se encuentra en la ciudad de Naguabo y cuenta con restaurantes locales que sirven los mejores mariscos y cocina local. Es la vida de la isla con las comodidades del hogar. Vaya de pesca, golf, natación, kayak, cabalgatas, senderismo o tome un ferry desde Ceiba (25 minutos en auto) a una de las dos islas (Vieques, Culebra) y pase el día haciendo snorkel, buceo o tomando el sol. Visite el casino cercano en Palmas del Mar (Humacao) o vaya de compras al Centro Comercial Palmas Real, con muchas tiendas que incluyen Wal-Mart, JC Penney, Sams Club, Marshalls y Bath & Body Works, o simplemente vea una película.
Senderismo / Kayak / Parques acuáticos: si te gustan los senderos naturales, pasa el día caminando por la selva tropical (El Yunque). Encontrarás caídas de agua con pozas para refrescarte.
Hay una reserva natural de bio-tour a pocos minutos al sur donde se puede practicar kayak en arroyos salobres que conducen al océano. Allí encontrará muchos tipos de aves e iguanas en este Refugio de Vida Silvestre de Humacao.
El bosque de Ceiba está a solo unos minutos al norte y tiene manglares y manatíes.
¿Te gusta el golf? Hay dos excelentes cursos cerca. El Conquistador en Fajardo está a solo 25 minutos al norte en la Ruta 3 y Palmas De Mar en Humacao, a 20 minutos en coche al sur con varios cursos excelentes.
Playas / Islas: Cala de Hucares es una comunidad frente al mar y tiene acceso a su propia playa. Además, la playa de Luquillo (30 minutos al norte) está clasificada como una de las playas más hermosas de Puerto Rico. Este destino cuenta con docenas de quioscos para almorzar y ofrece paseos a caballo. A solo unos minutos al sur se encuentra Punta Santiago, donde encontrará deliciosos restaurantes, playas públicas y un pequeño parque acuático.
Hay ferries que salen de Ceiba que lo llevarán a 2 hermosas islas (Vieques, Culebra) donde podrá pasar un día y divertirse haciendo snorkel, buceo o natación. Culebra tiene una de las mejores playas del mundo (clasificada entre las 15 mejores), Playa Flamenco, con agua clara y arenas blancas. Vieques también cuenta con una bahía bioluminiscente que contiene la concentración más alta (750K / galón de agua) de dino-flagelados que emiten una hermosa luz azul cuando son molestados. Hay un paseo en barco pontón fuera de Fajardo que transporta a los huéspedes a esta bio-bahía, que es una experiencia obligada.

Great Stay

We stayed for a week and it was a good stay. The home was well stocked close to the town and the beach was nice. The bed were comfy. It was perfect.

Amazing stay!!

The flat was amazing. Plenty of space, the decor was so beachy and cute, the kitchen was nice, the area was safe and inviting. The access to the pool and beach was really nice. From the flat, it’s a 60 second walk to the beach, with many nice spots to set up. Not busy at all. Also the town it’s located in is very cute, and has great food! This location is about 30 minutes from Luquillo, and 60 minutes from San Juan.

Family trip

This was our first time staying on the property. We really enjoyed our stay. Naguabo is a location where it’s loud with music, people out enjoying themselves and relaxing by the beach. If that is what you are looking for it’s the place to be. We got to enjoy the private beach. We had the entire beach to ourselves. They also allowed us to have a bbq right on the beach which was nice. We had our own charcoal grill. Overall we had a great time and would consider another trip in the future.

Christmas present

My son and I visited San Juan while on a cruise once but we did not get to explore anywhere else so we wanted to come back. I really wanted to stay in nature rather than the city and this was our Christmas. My roommate came with us and we had a great time. Your place was perfect for us and I loved the roof top terrace and was able to watch the meteor shower. Thank you so much for the nice place to stay.

Wonderful

Carlos was very responsive and provided detailed info about the home and things to do while in PR. the home was very clean. Easy to get into and out of the property. The home had plenty of items (possibly left behind from other renters) tanning lotion, bags, water shoes, first aid kits. It was great!!! Thank you Carlos for listing your home. We had a great time in PR and enjoyed our stay.

Street noise

We arrived at night, which made it difficult to locate the property. The street noise was significant from cars/motorcycles, people yelling and dogs (lots of dogs) barking at all hours of the night. We used a white noise app from our phone to help drown out the noise, which helped. The property itself is very nice, grounds well kept with a guard at the gate that would also walk the property. Good household items available with grocery & restaurants close by. Access to the beach was nice and clean. The key box worked but was difficult to get into since you need to push down on a lever while trying to also pull open. Females that have nails will struggle with this 😉 Carlos was great to communicate with & responded in a timely manner. Over all I would recommend this property, just making aware of the street noise.

Noisy neighborhood, beautiful location

We are a family of 4 with teenagers that travels to PR every other year as we have family that live on the island. Apartment is super clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated and extremely well stocked! Beach is clean, great for swimming and we had the beach to ourselves nearly every time we went down. Local restaurants had great, authentic food! Our only complaint was the noise and it was so profound that I have to give four stars. The master bedroom windows face the road and the windows do nothing to block out the noise. Although the apartment is on the 3rd floor, it sounds like the road is right outside your window. The nighttime traffic is expected in PR with the music and it usually stops by 10-11:00. The road outside the apartment is well traveled. The dogs, however, are a different story. We are unsure if they are wild dogs or belong to the owner across the street but every single night these dogs would start barking at 3:30 am and it would continue off and all until 6:00 am. Although we loved the apartment and the location, we were exhausted from poor sleep. This of course is not in the owner’s control and there’s very little anyone can do to remedy the problem other than wear ear plugs?

Nice unit but not very clean

Layout & space was good for our group of 5 adults. Very busy street right outside of bedroom windows which is very loud. Not much to do close by, definitely need a car to move around. Neighbourhood dogs are very noisy and constantly barking. Wouldn't recommend walking outside of complex, our friend went for a run and had a dog come through a fence a bite him. Had to make an emergency clinic visit for stitches & tetanus shot. Unit is in desperate need of a good deep clean, especially the kitchen. Dirty dishes in the cupboards, ants on countertops, everything (even in cupboards & drawers) had a greasy film. We had to wash everything prior to using. Beds sheets were covered in stains/spots and we couldn't tell if the towels in the linen closet were clean or dirty, some were folded, some were half folded/rolled. We found a towel draped over an ironing board in the closet which we're assuming was from a previous guest. Rooftop deck is very large but not really usable. Too hot during the day and pitch black at night. One exterior light but it didn't work We made the most of our time here and really enjoyed the beach but wouldn't book to stay here again

Relaxing Vacation

The room was nicely stocked amd had everything we needed & more! It could use some minor updating. The complex was quiet & felt very safe. The beach under the large shade tree was absolutely fantastic!! We had the beach mostly to ourselves all week. No crowds and felt secluded. The road outside the complex was loud at times throughout the night with passerbys. No fault of the owner. All in all it was a very relaxing vacation with the perfect beach for our family.

Beautiful Views

We enjoyed our stay here. The views can’t be beat. The neighborhood was loud however, especially road noise all through the night including extremely loud music. Roosters could be heard all through the day, which was actually very endearing. It was nice to have an ice maker and washer/dryer and the kitchen had all the basics you could need. It seems maybe someone uses this as their personal vacation home and rents it too. It has sort of a catch all feel with mismatched towels and dishes, various mismatched hygiene items and food products. The beds were comfortable and even with the road noise we all slept well. The showers were a a bit of a stressor, because the coating was flaking off and it was sharp and kept clogging the drain. We had to go get drano and had to shower in a couple inches of water most of the time. The malecon restaurants were only a short walk away but because of traffic and the lack of sidewalks we didn’t feel safe when we tried to walk. We mostly drove to other locations for food and supplies instead (about 20 minutes). Televisions were very hard to use so we didn’t use them much. Air conditioning worked well. The gate attendants were friendly and it felt safe inside the condo community. It was hard though to have only one key to get in and out of the rental and the pool/beach. We had several adults and had to all stay together to get in and out each time, meaning no one could be at the beach if others were at the pool., for example. It would be a good idea to have more kegs or a keypad entry. Another recommendation would be to cover part of the upstairs rooftop because the sun made it pretty unusable, also to add a grill would be nice. More comfortable furniture on the balcony would also be nice because that is the real gem of this rental. The beach was also a gem, as it was so private with only a couple handfuls of people at a time. The water was great for swimming and there was plenty of shade. There were also plenty of iguanas and coconuts. Overall it was a great time and there were many benefits.

Check in was easy and the location was good for our planned activities. View is great and master bed was very comfortable. Short walk to a nice beach and all the kids tried to boogie board.

Wonderful place, wonderful host!

Carlos went above + beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay- it was our first big trip with our 2-year old son. The apartment is huge, luxurious, clean, comfortable, modern, safe, and exactly as described in the listing. The private roof deck + balcony are fabulous. The private beach is one of the most beautiful and swimmable beaches I've ever been to, and we appreciated the playground, pool + open space for our son to play safely. The complex within which the apartment is located is secure and well-kept. The security team is very friendly and helpful as well. Naguabo and the surrounding area are friendly, safe, and there's lots of great food and activities for adventurous young families. I'm so glad we chose to stay here and we will definitely be back. We highly recommend staying here to anyone. It's a hidden gem.

Fantastic time.

We loved our stay in Carlos’ apartment in Naguabo! The views from the terrace and balcony were spectacular! The apartment has everything you need and is close to the Malecon where you can find restaurants and shops. There is a food truck called Munchy’s with great breakfasts. There are supermarkets and drug stores nearby, and Naguabo is a great hub to explore from. The only draw beck was the noise from the road as people drove to the Malecon. Loud music and loud motorcycles....so bring ear plugs to sleep. The beach is quiet and sandy with plenty of shade and stays shallow for quite a distance. Great for families. The whole complex is well maintained and the security staff is very helpful and friendly. All in all, I would highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay

Penthouse is beautiful and has everything needed for a family. The private beach is nice and no rip currents. Carlos is a great guy to deal with too.

A break from the routine resort vacation.

The property location allows the visitor to experience more of a laid back vacation and have a glimpse of a more realistic Puerto Rico. The neighbors were friendly as well as were the guards and grounds maintenance staff. Beach was quiet. Apartment was better than anticipated.

Excellent beachside apartment

Wonderful apartment with spacious master/ en-suite bedroom and 2 double bedrooms. Well-equipped kitchen and good size lounge / diner. A balcony to sit/eat on looking at the view to the sea. Large roof top terrace. The complex is very secure and has a nice pool, children’s play area and access to a beach. Good location as able to walk to Malécon de Naguabo where there are restaurants and bars. Nearest supermarkets 10 minute drive away. An ideal location for visiting the rest of the island. The only downside is the traffic noise / music from the street - but we did visit at a festive season. I can highly recommend this property.
