The 'Chaco Retreat' is a home away from home, located in the Retreats’ at Sand Hollow Resort. This property has all the amenities to make you feel right at home! Spacious indoor living with double sliding doors leading out to one of the largest back yards available in the resort. Enjoy outdoor entertaining and a great area for the kids to play. Add to this the roof-top deck, with a 360 degree panoramic view of the Pine Valley Mountain range, Hurricane Cliffs, red sand dunes and beautiful golf course!
The home itself features a fully stocked kitchen and dining table that seats six, open living / kitchen area for entertaining. Primary bedroom includes a king size bed with an adjustable frame allowing the bed to be raised to lift your head and shoulders by the push of a button. Great for watching TV and/or reading! The primary bathroom includes a jetted tub & walk-in shower, vanities with beautiful granite counter tops. Guest rooms include queen size beds with shared full bath. This home is absolutely amazing. I loved it so much that I ended up staying for four months. I only planned on staying two months. Andy and the property managers were very quick to reply and help with any questions I had. The area is beautiful. The view in the backyard is amazing. There is a place up top the house to sit and look at the beautiful mountains and the scenery around. I love this place so much that I’m hoping to go there every year. The home is filled with light. It was the perfect place for me to have some of my own quiet time. Thank you Andy and Monika for an amazing home to stay in.

Fabulous place to stay!
This home was exactly as described. Beautiful , clean - GREAT location!
We were there for the Ironman 70.3 so location was perfect for the race and far enough away after the race to decompress.

Beautiful views with all the amentities
Second time staying at "Chaco Retreat" and it felt like home. Such a nice comfortable place with lots to do. We golfed, enjoyed music at the Clubhouse and great time ATVing. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful home
My family stayed six nights at the Chaco retreat and visited Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon. The location was wonderful and the home is beautiful. It’s located in the Sand Hollow Resort which was extremely quiet and centrally located. I would definitely recommend this home.

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was great, only downside was we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy it all. This is a great location close to things but quiet and private. Communication with the owners was great! We would definitely recommend this rental and would love to come back again.

Great place with great views!
We really enjoyed this house. It was clean, well stocked, decorated nicely with great views! We had family and friends camping at Sand Hollow and this place made it so convenient to just ride over in our Razor to their camp and join in on the festivities. Also check in and check out were so easy. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Girls Weekend!

Great week in Hurricacane
Chose this house, because of the great reviews and wasn't disappointed. Great location for St George and Zion NP, plus views from the the backyard were fantastic. House was clean, well appointed and had a grill that we used several times. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights in this comfortable, well decorated home. Enjoyed the view. We did a UTV adventure right near the property and spent 2 days in Zion (hike the narrows if you get a chance, just rent gear). Everything was clean and there was everything we could need for our stay.

Wonderful Time at Chaco Retreat
We stayed at the “Chaco Retreat” between Christmas and New Years. The pictures on the website are exactly as you see, the house is beautiful, the amenities are great, and it’s very clean and comfortable. Andy is a fabulous owner who is attentive to details. He made sure our stay was excellent. We look forward to visiting Hurricane again and staying in this lovely home!

Prior to 2025, our home was listed for 15 years as a nightly rental on both VRBO & Airbnb with 113 and 53 'exceptional' ratings accordingly. However, we decided to change to a monthly rental to allow for longer stays in our beautiful home.

Why they chose this property
We both have a love for the desert southwest, particularly the breathtaking red sand sculptures and amazing rock formations found in southern Utah!
So as to enjoy more frequent visits to this beautiful area we decided to build back in 2010. Our decision on the exact location was based on the fact that we are within walking distance to a desert oasis ( Sand Hollow Reservoir ), beautiful red sand dunes for ATVing / motor or dirt biking, and reside within Sand Hollow Resort, which includes year-round golf! The home and location provides a 'get-away' from the Northwest's long, wet and cold winters but also for others to enjoy and experience God's gift of nature! Once you visit the "Chaco Retreat" we are sure you will understand why we made this choice.

What makes this property unique
Ideally it's has a smaller footprint than most homes within the resort, which means overall less cleaning. It also means that you have more outdoor space to enjoy, especially in the backyard. The home also includes the added bonus of having a roof-top deck. Landscaping service is also included so there is no mowing, trimming or watering required.
