Nicely decorated 4 bedroom, 2 full & 2 half bath home with fully landscaped backyard that includes a hot tub to enjoy at the end of the day. Canada Olympic park is close enough to see out of our front windows and a large park with playgrounds along with city pathways leading to the Bow River and Bowness Park are right out our front door. Very easy access to TransCanada Hiway 1 that leads you straight West to the Mountian Parks if you want to escape for the day. Canmore and Banff National Park entrance is aprox 50 mins from our driveway which makes the trip home after a day of hiking or skiing very easy. City center is approx 20-30 mins drive on any given day and Stoney Trail provides quick access to the airport. Parking fees downtown can be expensive but this location can offer an easy alternative. Calgary's light rail transit (LRT) system recently extended its service right to our community which is another plus, park at the station lot nearby and jump on the train to head downtown to the heart of the city (Stampede grounds, festivals, dining, shopping and more).
Our home features three bedrooms on the second level; master has a queen bed, attached bath with separate shower, soaker tub and TV. Two additional upstairs bedrooms have queen beds along with access to a second three (3) piece bathroom on the second floor. Forth bedroom is located on the basement level and has access to its own half bath and sitting area along with electric fireplace, TV and a desk.
The main floor features an open living room with a gas fireplace and TV. Fully equipped kitchen with a table to seat 6 and an island along with door accessing the hot tub and deck that has a BBQ along with a table/chairs and umbrella shade to use for meals during the warmer months.
The back yard is very nicely landscaped with a new 6-seater hot tub which is great to use throughout the year along with additional seating around a propane fire pit that can be used while the snow is away. Our home is located in a neighbourhood where we respect others so paying attention to your noise levels past 11pm would be very appreciated.
Your home away from home will be well stocked with all of the amenities you may need to prepare and serve meals (incl spices and coffee) along with quick access to a shopping complex located a few blocks away to pick up groceries or other items you may need. Laundry is located on the main floor and fresh linens, towels and toiletries will be provided during your stay. Our home is kept meticulously clean and we hope you will find it to be a wonderful place for your family and group visits to our great city.
