Pelican Pass Owners Bud and Kathy Smallwood and Keith and Jane Bolles complimented each other in creating this beautiful luxury villa. Bud and Kathy are in the building material business and imported stone from around the world to construct this beachfront home. Keith and Jane are in the home furnishings industry and have helped to create the beautiful interior. The owners have come together to create this relaxing and comfortable vacation home, You won't be disappointed!

The VRBO bear and family had a fabulous time in this beautiful open concept villa in Puerto Rico. It is the ideal family getaway beach location where the ocean is literally at your feet! Each bedroom is spacious with full-size in-suite bathrooms and separate balconies – 2 of them overlooking the ocean, where we saw magnificent sunsets while relaxing in comfortable chairs. The bears made good use of the large, well-stocked kitchen. In addition, the dining room has room for plenty of seating, as well as the patio table. In fact, the patio was a favorite place to spend time, with several lounge chairs, beach toys, chairs and umbrellas, a large gas grill, and of course, the constant rhythmic sound of the surf only meters away. To top it off, the villa is only minutes outside of Rincon by car, where there are abundant restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as access to several other beaches, some of which are regarded as the best surfing spots in the Caribbean. Overall, the bears had a wonderful and relaxing time and highly recommend Pelican Pass.

Great Villa! Best Value in Rincon - Post Maria stay

We stayed at Pelican Pass, Villa 2, the second week of February, 2018. The villa is very well equipped and maintained. We also appreciated the design and construction of the unit. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and outdoor balcony, two of which overlook the ocean. The living and dining spaces are large and comfortable, and there is a constant breeze flowing throughout the entire house. The villa is located in a quiet area of high end homes. It's also gated, however, we felt so safe that we rarely closed the front gate. The The owners of the villa were extremely responsive and communicated with us before and during our stay. Before we booked, the owners called to let us know that the beach in front of the villa had been washed away by Maria, and that cable TV was not operable. However, we found that everything else worked perfectly...power, water, internet service, etc. The large and beautiful stone patio behind the villa now overlooks the ocean directly, and we enjoyed sunsets there every night before heading out to dinner. There are many fine beaches in Rincon, many within a short drive of the villa, and no charge for parking. Rincon itself appears to have recovered well from Maria, and still offers some of the finest dining on the island. Our favorites were La Copa Llena and Mangia Mi. Since our last visit to Rincon, a large, modern grocery store has opened in town, a huge improvement over prior grocery and wine & beer options. But the freshest fruit is found at the roadside stands outside of town! Puerto Rico needs more tourists, and we really felt appreciated everywhere we went. And finally, at the current rental rate, this is DEFINITELY the best value in Rincon! On our prior visit to Rincon we stayed at the Horned Dorset, however, we preferred Pelican Pass Villa 2 much better.

Absolutely gorgeous

We had our honeymoon here at Pelican Pass Villas. It was amazing. The home and property are gorgeous . It's super private. It's literally steps from the beach, which there were hardly any people on the entire 8 days. The owners are more than accomadating. They helped us with places to visit, places to eat , and places to sight see. You are very safe here as well. Many locks on all the doors and it's a gated home. We spent a lot of tice on the patio out back. Loved the out door shower . We look forward to returning. Be safe everyone in Puerto Rico during the hurricane.

Great holiday in a wonderful location

We are a family of 5 that visited Puerto Rico for the first time at the beginning of August. We wished for a peaceful beach house and Pelican Pass was just perfect. The rear patio led directly onto the quiet beach and the Caribbean a situation quite unique for privacy and relaxation. Rincon is also a special place to visit with so much to do on the water there, even out of season, as we were. A great holiday was enjoyed by us all thanks to the excellent facilities at Pelican Pass.

We had a 3 nights stay at Pelican Pass Villa both 1 and 2.The location of theseVillas is very good.

Yes! We had a great 3 nights stay at Pelican Pass Villas both 1 and 2.

I need to make seperate review on esch villa. Have to say Villa 1 is in need for some maintenance, there we found sliding doors would not open, ceiling fans thay are corroded, unkept patio furniture cushions, rusted and unclean gas grill. The sofa bed needs to be change. Could not use it. The overall impression of an unkept property. The downstairs furniture need to be changed.

The moment we walked in you could tell difference between villa 1 and 2.

Villa 2 seem kept and updated and clean!!!! We were told by keeper they had that morning cleaned Villa # 2 but we could tell Villa #1 had been cleaned a while back and had been closed. But they need to give it a deep clean!

There was dust all over furniture and the windows and glass tables were all dirty. Not what you expect at this type of property. More so when you have a cleaning fee.

My suggestion is for both properties to be given some maintenance and to keep such beautiful, and amazing properties top shape for future guests to enjoy 100%.

The fact if each bedroom to have private bath is a most! The design and materials are great! The beach front is a natures gift!!!!!

I live beach front year round but still the privacy of this proerty was so magical.

The owner suggested a chef for having dinners catered to the villa; and it was 100% a win. The lady chef is a great cook and also very accomodating to needs and wishes!!!! We love Dana!!!!

Saturday for sunset we all sat at the beach and had her great appetizers and good wine enjoying the sight!

This was a 5 star experience indeed!!!

We will come back to Rincon and yes we will stay at Pelican Pass!!!!

We know their owners will hear us and they will act on maintenance and cleaning!!! Both were very nice and answered quedtions and concerns everytime!!!!!

These villas could become our yearly family or friends reunion place!

Lovely stay in Rincon

We have been staying at this lovely property for many years. We always enjoy the beach and the beautiful sunsets. There are several very good restaurants in the area which added to our enjoyment. The nearby municipal stadium gives us a place to exercise.

The house is spacious and comfortable and located in a beautiful neighborhood in Rincon.

Owner's Response: So happy to have you with us again and for reminding others of the public tennis courts, outdoor track and exercise machines. So often we walk the beach but my wife also loves the track. Now she is going to yoga at the lighthouse also.
