Unwind in this beautifully appointed carriage house on our horse farm high above the Champlain Valley. Centrally located to a dozen ski areas, New England's best biking & hiking and only minutes from spectacular Lake Champlain.

After enjoying the area's activities, come home and relax by the fire, soak in the jacuzzi tub or have a glass of wine on the terrace watching the horses play in the pasture.

My husband and I had a lovely Vermont autumn weekend at the Carriage house. The property is beautiful, the rental is well equipped and comfortable, and the hosts and their dogs are very welcoming. There are endless miles of gravel riding for cyclists in this part of Vermont, as well as great hiking, and the location is also close enough to Burlington to pop out for dinner etc. Highly recommended!!

If you want to be near a large city but also want to stay somewhere peaceful, this is your place. Very close to Burlington but out in the beautiful countryside. I enjoyed seeing the horses and basically having them live next door to me at night. I loved sitting outside with a glass of wine and enjoying the lovely scenery. I will definitely return if I am in this area again.

I had a great stay at this property. Wonderful sunsets as well as a unique experience. The horses next door are wonderful. Very clean and neat. Wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing time at the carriage house with my wife and toddler. He loved seeing the horses throughout the day. The property was very nice, with a trail leading around it that we walked a few times during our stay in the morning or evening. Was nice to be dealing with real homeowners as opposed to a property management company for anything we needed during our stay. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! The carriage house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved watching the horses in the field and through the barn window! It was so neat to wake up hearing the horses in the barn. The sunset and the firepit were also highlights. Karen is just lovely...thank you!

We have traveled all over the world. This was the most unique place we have stayed. Our son and dog loved seeing the "neigh"bors through the window. The house was extremely clean and check in was a breeze.

We had a fantastic weekend at the carriage house! Karen and Greg were super welcoming while also giving us plenty of privacy. The views are great from the bedroom windows and our son enjoyed watching the horses through the “horse tv” window in the living area. We’d love to come stay again soon, thank you!

Outstanding… Karen was a great host… the carriage house was very clean and comfortable. Definitely a unique experience having the horses right there where you can see them through a viewing window. The decision by the host to point the couch to look out a gigantic picture window next to a fireplace was also a very nice idea instead of pointing to a television. Thank you for the great stay.

We loved our visit! The views were beautiful and we enjoyed meeting some of the resident dogs. The space was clean and had everything we needed. My favorite part of the trip was sitting outside and enjoying the fire pit, while watching the sun set over the property!

Great little stay

Our family had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful with great views. The girls had fun watching the horses. Access to the property was very easy, parking was convenient and we had everything we needed.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Although close to Burlington, the cottage itself is on a hillside at the end of a dirt road, with beautiful views and starry night skies. The cottage itself is its own building, but ajacent to a horse barn. The main house house is approximately 100 yards away with obstructing trees giving both living areas plenty of privacy.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The cottage is a 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath standalone living area located adjacent to a horse stable, with viewing into the stables. A tv room offers a full-sized futon for additional sleeping accommodations. There's also a nice sitting area with a gas fireplace for those cold nights; and a nicely appointed kitchen with door to patio and outside fireplace.
